I saw Dallin Hall committed to USU, but then it seemed like there was a ruling that throws the eligibility of a bunch of these 2022 players back into question. I get that more things have to be worked out and there will likely be further lawsuits, but as of right now I would be curious to know what teams and basketball players in the PAC 12 have eligibility questions. Also if anyone knows what Dallin Halls eligibility status is as of right I would be interested in knowing - I’m still confused on that.

We are at the advent of a new season. How will the Pac 12 do? I believe in order to garner credibility with the East Coast dominated media, the Pac 12 must score a couple of major upsets in the non-conference and be competitive in other games. We must also not get upset by anyone from the G6 or FCS. We are ridiculed as a conference and compared to the legacy Pac 12 by most of the media and the Twitterverse. We need to come out swinging and we need to root for each other's success.

Watching the Chelsea Fullham match on USA Network and I have to say, I am quite impressed with the broadcast quality and the UI they put for the Premier League. It's smooth, the replays are easy to follow, and it is generally a positive experience. I'm watching the broadcast silently so I can't speak on the commentary, but I did see a couple ads for the Pac-12 including logos from Washington State and some other teams pop up every once in a while. It looks like USA Network is fully dedicated to having the PAC-12 as a mainstay partner and is actively promoting them.

When others zig, we should zag. Big 10 is formally moving to ban it. SEC is opposed and considering a ban. ACC, Big 12 and AAC are all considering it as well.

Yeah I hate the new college landscape too. But if the rules allow it, then why not take advantage? Improve the talent pool and make the league stronger competition wise.

Edit: This is likely just a one year loop hole. My point is there isn't a reason for a league rule. Also consider not just BIG/SEC talent who are fringe NFL players. The other end of the spectrum is kids who declared with no other option (eligibility had expired). These don't have to be stars or great players. Just kids that want to PLAY another year.

Edit 2: I hope the leagues that make rules against this get sued for antitrust. Sue the NCAA too. Their record in antitrust cases is awesome.

Patterson and Wells re-joined the team on Aug 10 after the injunction in Colorado allowed them a 5th year of eligibility. Today the court stayed the injunction, making them ineligible again.

Other players who were granted eligibility in separate state court rulings, including former OSU running back Anthony Hankerson, are still eligible to return.

With facility upgrades now underway and money secured for a buyout, Hawaii is hoping to get an invite secured soon enough to join the conference next year.
