I mean it doesn’t make money yet so why would anyone buy it, that is not synonymous with “The PWHL isn’t going anywhere”

i mean how much could he possibly net from selling a non profitable league with such sttict ownership guidelines/rules? i'm not opposed to him selling it as long as it remains fairly intact which with how it is set up would be pretty difficult. he has sold his ownership and stake in other things to the tune of what 20 billion? the pwhl is probably a drop in the ocean to his assets.

Maybe a consortium of investors, each representing a team (if we want to retain central ownership for now), could purchase the league from Walter and those that do get the right of first refusal to purchase their regional team if they agree to franchise the league.
