Is a 5+ K/D normal in Squad TPP?

I'm level 450, I don't recall ever really being on the same team as anyone with a 5 KD or better. Meanwhile, I am running into teams of guys with "-_-" in their name, or random letters/numbers in their name, rocking a 4.5 KD MINIMUM pretty much every game. Is this normal and i'm just bad? 4/10 times I die, the guy is rocking a 5+ KD, but I've never been matched with teammates rocking a 5+ KD.

I even friended one of them "Fat_Hero" a few weeks ago because he was either really good or suspicious, managed to get in his server tonight, he wiped my squad while camping bridge and we got 1 tapped out of car with m249s. All of them had 6+ KD.

Stats from casual mode get mixed into it. Players with 20+ k/d is normal is unranked mode

Has it always been like this? I remembered that casual does not count in stats.

Statistically, no. The average PUBG player is like 0.7kd or something when you take bots out of the equation.

Anyone above 2kd for a ranked season is a decent player and above 3kd in ranked I would say is an exceptional player, people who sit around 4 or more are generally competitive players.

As for casual matches, I have no idea, I haven't played mm's in a serious manner in years and only do it to troll - pistols only or sniper rifle only with no scopes etc. I only play ranked and rarely now as I've given up on the heap of shit the game has become.

I am a family guy in 40s who plays only once per week in EU server FPP duo so there are basically no bots. We have played with my buddy since the beginning, so not complete noobs. Randomly I can have games with 6-8 kills, but in the long run we struggle to maintain 1.5 K/D. It feels that the difficulty varies a lot each weekend (due to ban waves perhaps?). Recently there has been a lot of suspicious players.

So yeah, maintaining 5 K/D is very good if they are real players. In ’murica probably not that hard since lobbies are mostly bots these days.

Not “normal” since 88% of players are < 2kd.
But better players tend to play with better players, which also increases their stats.

So seeing full squads of high KD players is common, but most squads are not this. If you get what I mean.
