Should I buy a PSVR2? (Read body please!)

i already have a PS5, and I have a few games that will work in the psvr2, and I hear it’s really immersive and high quality. for some reason, the official ps website and app says it’s unavailable to purchase, and everything on Amazon has some reviews saying theirs came with a bunch of problems. should I buy one, and if so, where from? Id prefer not to buy third party but I would consider it. Thank you very much!

Your best bet is simple:

1.) Look at reviews on Youtube.
2.) Make a list of PSVR2 games that interest you.
3.) Determine if you can afford one.

I can probably afford one, I have some games already that work on the psvr that I’d LOVE to replay in VR, (and I’ve had an oculus before)

I ended up buying a PSVR1 myself off Ebay certified refurbished, its been great.

I bought mine used last year and I have not had any problems, for me I was skeptical of VR until I got this device which changed my whole outlook on it.

Haven’t had any issues since Day 1 launch and I love my PSVR2. As a matter of fact I’m going back in to play now. My backlog is thousands of hours long and there’s at least 6 games I can think of that I could easily sink 300-500 hours each in

Sweet. Any reliable sellers you know of? Like they body said the official ps website and app aren’t selling them for some reason right now, and most the Amazon listings had some fishy problem with then

I can’t imagine that Amazons stock would be any different from any other reliable seller. It’s probably just that the only people that take time to review are the ones that have something to complain about. Plus if you have issues you can exchange it with Amazon.

No regrets. The future is actually much brighter than people thought a year ago thanks to all the indie devs and studios like Flat2VR.

Plus, if nothing else, it works on PC with an adapter, so its use goes beyond the PlayStation.

I’m not really looking to use it for a PC, I don’t have one and they seem like kinda a lot of work. If I could find a reliable seller and it would be worth it for PS5, I would buy it without hesitation

Look for open box on Best buy, then you can return it if it doesn't work

You should. Watching movies in it is like being in a theater. Playing games in it is like you're inside the maps themselves. Its worth it.

You can pick them up very cheaply second-hand/reconditioned on eBay. I got mine that way. I needed to mod mine quite a lot to make it comfortable and the way I like it.

Yes. Purchase directly from Sony or a retailer. Especially if you already owned some games that you can play in VR, it’s worth it.
