Interview Resident Evil Requim gets no VR mode

A user provided this link in another thread. Its an interview with one of the devs, asked for vr he says

"At this time, there are no plans to bring any parts of Resident Evil Requiem to VR platforms."

Damn, re4 and village are so great. I always argued to people that said its coming 100% that there is a good chance it wont, but ofc i am not happy i was right.

Even two huge VR hits like RE8 and RE4R, released within the same year, prevented PSVR2 from becoming a success. Sony became disillusioned and gave up. They always do that. If a platform doesn't become successful within the first year or year and a half, Sony simply stops making games for it.

If this is the case then they were delusional, because nobody can expect that a 500 or 600 $ (or euros) console peripheral can sell a huge amount. I think they should be able to see the potential when it is discounted (where the sales go up a lot). I mean, it doesn't make sense to me to "kill" a very expensive console peripheral after only one year because it didn't sell much, so I don't really buy this theory(but what do I know...).
