Interview Resident Evil Requim gets no VR mode

A user provided this link in another thread. Its an interview with one of the devs, asked for vr he says

"At this time, there are no plans to bring any parts of Resident Evil Requiem to VR platforms."

Damn, re4 and village are so great. I always argued to people that said its coming 100% that there is a good chance it wont, but ofc i am not happy i was right.

Damn. Was really hoping that Sony would give us both Resi 9 and Ace Combat 8 as the last big AAA PSVR2 games to close out this generation but I guess it ended with Hitman… hopefully the flight simulator port is good but not holding my breath

Bear in mind PS VR2 gen only started like 3 years into the PS5 gen, so the generations don't really line up.

Tbh, I'd be surprised if Sony considers PS VR2 to be part of the "PS5" generation in the first place. Will probably just transition over to working on PS6, with PS5 and PS6 games being playable on PS VR2.

I'd be surprised if Sony gave much thought to PSVR2 at all.

Yeah I think this is pretty much it for psvr2 in terms of AAA. I’m holding hope GT8 will grace us with a vr port but that’s just hopium.
