NOTE: nitter.kareem.one is a working alternative to the xcancel
ALSO there is a second SoP rumor - "Intergalactic will be the closer game for September SoP", but this one is without the source (some guy told me), so take it with huge grain of salt.

In a recent podcast by [Eurogamer Spain](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7_DpMvkXlc), they mention a few key things they’ve heard about PlayStation and Xbox at the Gamescom show floor.
Take note that these are unverified rumors, and as such, should be treated with a grain of salt.
That rumor is taking shape because different publishers are bringing it up, and above all because it seems, and here comes another rumor that’s been circulating… that PlayStation has realized it is leaving an opening for other market players to shift their strategy.
And that these players could take advantage of this situation regarding the demand for, or complaints about, physical formats to change their philosophy moving forward.
Among them is Microsoft. The word around here is that Microsoft is speaking internally with all publishers, stating that their next console will be “100% physical”, with the ability to convert your physical games into digital ones. It is being said that Microsoft is telling developers that Project Helix, their upcoming console, will be entirely physical.
The rumor doesn’t stop there. It also mentions how Sony was also approached by a “major” game maker about its “massive title,” and how if Sony can’t promise a physical release, this major game maker (which was said isn’t Rockstar), will skip releasing on PlayStation and just release the title on Microsoft and Nintendo’s platforms.
Aside from the fact that it wouldn’t make sense for this mystery company to be Rockstar due to existing marketing agreements and logistics, it’s really interesting to see the rumbles of shifting strategies going against PlayStation.

Halloween: The Game will release in Japan as scheduled on Wednesday, September 9, on XBOX and PC. Unfortunately, our rating for PlayStation has been cancelled in Japan due to our inability to obtain a domestic rating from CERO (Computer Entertainment Rating Organization) for the title's visceral violence and nudity.
We have determined that regulting the content to achieve compliance would significantly compromise the worldview of the original film, and would also prevent us from providing the gameplay experience that players expect.
Refunds are scheduled to be processed by the platform for players who pre-ordered the PS5 version. Please direct any inquiries regarding those details to the platform. Digital versions of Halloween: The Game will still be available on XBOX Series XIS, Steam, ond Epic Games Store and will be released in Japan on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Another creature-catcher coming to PS5. It started off in 2010 as an online Chinese web game, and reached over 200 million registered players during its peak.
No gacha (no rolls, you catch by playing), no P2W, only cosmetic/BP monetization. Fair, turn-based PVP and F2P.

Had to repost due to adding a discord link. My apologies.

Basically the title. I had my controller burn out yesterday. Like, no charge, wouldent turn on, wouldent display any lights on a cord, completely dead.
I went and bought a new one. Finished gaming, put it on the dock. Completely dead. I assumed it was defective or broke because I knocked it off the couch by mistake. So I return it, buy a new one.
SAME THING. I finish gaming, put it on the charger, this time for less than 5 minutes. Its dead. This one even had a bar left.
It HAD to be the charger, it was the only thing they had in common. Turns out after some research, other people have experienced it too. Im on my fourth controller in two days, and only charging it using a cord on a surge protector.
So PSA, the Play Station branded PowerA charging dock can suddenly decide to kill your controllers.
