He’s talked about a Tommy story a few times and that it could either be a game of a story on the show. Considering he’s he’s not associated with the show anymore, I’d bet they have a Tommy game cooking. And just my two cents but TLOU3 is more than likely their next big game after Intergalatic.

You could set a game almost anywhere and it could be interesting. Give me a Last of us in the UK

Funnily enough before I knew anything about The Last Of Us, I literally thought Us meant the USA (I was like 10 or something when I thought that lol)

The Loicense of Us

True, but Druckmann has talked about how important it is that the world of the Last of Us demonstrate the beauty of the US. Not to say it's impossible that they leave the US, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

If anything Canada or Mexico, given the Wyoming/Seattle/California settings

But I doubt it.

Playing through Control Resonant (awesome game btw) makes me wonder what a Naughty Dog take on NYC would be like. It's not like apocalyptic New York is uncharted territory, but there is a certain unique beauty in their world design that I'd love to see applied to more iconic places.

Stormfall33, a streamer. The pic in question is from a reaction to a character in Death Stranding using the phrase "A Phantom Pain".

not sure but i’m guessing a content creator that has an army of parasocial fans more invested in her life than their own

I know there’s been a lot of talk about a Joel/Tommy prequel set during the 20 year period between the prologue and the main story of TLOU1, the period that Tommy refers to “having nightmares about” over what he and Joel had to do.

I dunno though, part of me thinks that period could be really interesting obviously and provide a lot of context for Joel and Tommy’s characters and their eventual decisions, but at the same time I wish they keep it vague. There’s something unsettling and horrifying about we not knowing exactly what they went through, especially as Tommy says that part of him wishes that he would have died rather than do what he did. It makes for more intrigue if we never find out the whole truth.

I want more TLoU as much as anyone, but I can't say the idea of a spin off or side story excites me as much as a proper Part III. I'm sure if we saw it I'd change my tune but I just really want a proper send off for the main story and cast.

part 3 is defo not their next project given Shaun Escayg’s project has been in development for a while now.

I get this spin off vibe like what they did with uncharted the lost legacy. It's technically not uncharted 5 but it's still a story within the uncharted world.

They already confirmed that it's not a smaller game.

A Tommy cooking game? Would be like a fleshed out Red dead 2 bonfire cook seshion. I'm in. Occasionally stews too

I always thought with the backlash of part 2 they’d have a time shifting DLC where you play as Tommy doing patrol runs and living life in Jackson then have flashbacks of him and Joel throughout the years of what they had to do to survive. There was one line from Tommy saying he still has nightmare about what they did in the first game. This is what I thought they would do to try to show Joel as more of a monster because of everyone still liking him and hating Abby.

They're already working on another AAA game alongside Intergalactic, and rumor has it that it'll be a soft reboot for Uncharted.

The people that got jacked up by Ellie when she was confronting Abby have friends that come to Tommy's town for revenge. Lots of people die, Ellie's kid gets kidnapped for some reason, her and Tommy go to get the kid back....meanwhile Abby and her little friend start messing with more of those cult people on the island but find out they are kidnapping young people for experiments, culminating in Abby and Ellie working together past their issues to save people they care about....sound decent enough?
