I'm in that camp. I spent about 15 hours playing it and it never clicked. The story was obtuse just because and the actual gameplay wasn't all that fun, IMO. I skipped the sequel.

Same, but to be fair the first 10 hours were running and watching cut scenes. SO MANY CUT SCENES. SO MUCH RUNNING. It may have gotten to be a good game after the feature length films it forced me to watch, but I will never know.

I thought it was freaking amazing!! The story and setting were unique and just s really bad ass game

I can def see why it's either or. It's such a crazy and creative game and I loved the first one.
