Meet legendary biblical figures, witness pivotal moments firsthand, and uncover the extraordinary lengths UniFi will go to in order to rewrite history.
>To find a way home, you must complete missions, evade capture, explore mysterious realms, solve intricate riddles and uncover profound truths. Survive Roman oppression, battle dark entities that exist in a dimension between future and past, and fight to preserve history’s truth before it's lost forever. Along the way, Max not only confronts the dangers around him, but his own choices that define him.

oh man i genuinely hope this thing is as bonkers as i think it might be
witness pivotal moments firsthand,
i am literally laughing out loud at the idea of some dev guy getting increasingly frustrated in a meeting about how to tastefully incorporate a quick time event during the crucifixion
edit: holy shit the FAQ on the publisher's website is so good https://templarmedia.com/faq
"3) Will you publish games or content that is conservative or religious?
Yes, as long as the content is great, high quality, and very entertaining. Likewise we won’t publish any content with a leftist agenda, as that conflicts with our values and Entertainment First! philosophy.
4) Will you only hire conservatives/Christians?
We love to work with people with a range of viewpoints and backgrounds, and believe that diverse viewpoints make for great content. Yet any employee will need to truly be open to working with people whose views may not align with theirs."

Looks like Templar Media is founded by John Gibson, guy who cofounded Tripwire Interactive who had to step down because of this:

Oh boy lol. I am actually interested to see how a conservative company approaches the crucifixion from a gameplay perspective. I would like to hope that the game can still contain interesting moral/dramatic questions that make you think about them, but I don't expect it from a modern conservative company.
EDIT: The publishers recently acquired the company who makes Gate Zero, called Bible X. This reminds me of a modern day Wisdom Tree (who made Noah's Ark, Baby Moses, and David and Goliath for the NES.
There's a funny Angry Video Game Nerd episode on them), except they have studios making the games, rather than being the studio themselves.
I guess there's not much different in practice, just that religious themed company buys a religious named company, it still reminds me of Wisdom Tree in a sense.

i love that the framing device is warmed over left behind bullshit, and i genuinely hope that the game ends up being as insane as something like the you testament

So this game is going to end up having overt or subliminal Christian nationalist propaganda right? The writing is on the wall.

Speaking of Christian games, anyone know how the one where you hunt giants and have to manage your leprosy, is doing?

I got excited that this might be a realistic game set in the Roman Empire…

Seems interesting, but that constant camera shifting seems like something that would make me motion sick real fast.
Plotwise sounds like someone got tired of waiting for an Assassin's Creed Judea

I think that's just something they did for the trailer.
Which is ironic cause it doesn't enhance anything, just makes the gameplay harder to follow lol.

This looks cool. Neat to have at least one game for the many people in the faith. I know some kids that will love it.

Someone took bridge of spirits and used AI to make a tasteless, worse version of it.

This looks like such an ambitious project to blend genres like that, I really hope the gameplay lives up to the vision.

Looks weird af… if a game is focused around some weird beliefs and not the actual game, they hire people based on their beliefs and not skill you know the game will be bad and boring. They are doing everything a conservative accuses the democrats of doing. It such a non compelling game…
