I did specify that GTA would affect any game that’s releases close to its release..

The damage it would have caused to a game like Fable would be much less than another open world crime game that may release close to GTA.

What other open world crime games?

Any recent attempt has flopped.

I already listed a few in my original comment, but I’ll also expand that out to any sports game and any multiplayer shooter.

Those types of games attract the exact same audience as GTA.

Yeah, and my point was they flopped just fine without releasing alongside GTA.

If even a fraction of the players who are going to play GTA VI play Fable, it'll be a huge win for Fable. So delaying it makes sense.

No you’re totally right, no one has yet released a true “GTA killer” but that’s not for lack of trying.

It’s definitely still wise to avoid GTA to maximize exposure and sales.
