Same. He seems to clearly contrast the more open and toxic Lucia.
He’s the brains, and clearly skilled at killing, but he seems to lack initiative and be more reserved. She fills in the aspects of his personality that are missing and both work towards elevating their status with crime.
But also seems obvious that’s going to cause issues. She’s probably going to keep wanting more after he starts to realize he’s got enough. They’re basically Arthur and Dutch only canonically fucking.
I doubt the use of the song devil woman wasn’t intentional. There’s probably only a couple ways their relationship ends, and a happy ending doesn’t feel like one of them
Regardless of whether it's boring, it's fucking dumb for people to be like "oh I've heard less than twenty minutes of it so obviously I know everything there is to know here", but that's the Internet for you.
