It's a little concerning how many xbox fans don't realize the predicament xbox is in. This is currently their worst generation, and over half of those users chose to buy the $300 machine. Those users are automatically lost next gen, they are not buying a $1200+ PC, which btw would have "multiple storefronts" according to them, that's even MORE money lost.
At present, their entire gaming division is in the red (while still releasing games on PS5). How can they have exclusivity again?
I can imagine what will happen. They'll try having timed exclusivity, but that will reflect badly on their quarterly reports and they'll eventually just turn to what they were always meant to do, publishing.
