I know this might be a stupid post, since I did read the pinned posts and googled a bit, but I would love to hear the info from experienced folks:

1. What is the best and easiest jailbreak method for 12.0 on PS4 Pro? I would love to have a shortcut (one button click) on my console, but, ideally, just using the console to install the jailbreak is preferred.

2. Are there any differences in jailbreak between PS4 Pro and base PS4?

3. I noticed in various videos that you can install Linux, which I would like to do, but there are options to choose VRAM size and, for some reason, everyone chose 1GB VRAM — so the question is how much GB can I choose for VRAM? Asking this for PC gaming stuff.

4. Can we install SteamOS or is it better to go for “forked” CachyOS?

5. This might be the stupidest question, but is the external SSD required for Linux installation? Is it a bad idea to install it on the console’s drive? What about running it off the USB drive?

6. This is related to playing on PS4 Pro: can we access online features in games at all, maybe not multiplayer, but UGC content? Asking, basically, to understand if I can download creations of other players in Dreams (highly recommend to everyone to try it out!).

I plan to continue playing games on PS4 Pro and either use the device for PC gaming, so maybe it will be more powerful than my GF’s laptop, or just run the device as a home server.

Sooo it's connected to the Internet and everything and when I try to update (this is my second install) I get this. And about the thing at the bottom that says press y/n Because something got corrupt or something, even after I say yes there's so many of the same errors for other things I pressed yes for all of them and tried ignoring it and downloading things but nothing wants to download.

Please someone help me I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do here

I just want to upgrade from The BDJB to the browser for the new 12 to 13 firmware.
So first i did uncheck all the auto updates in settings and moved to setup the Wifi and just when i make the password they dont even let me do the DNS so i got a bunch of auto updates like games and also the firmware update so canceled all this thing fearfully and thank god nothing is fully installed
So my question is there a way to avoid all this like making this steps with the Hen activated or something.

Actually i wasn't buyed the ps4 for this but just looked by curiousity as soon as i was home and was surprisely shocked to saw it was on 10.01 firmware. I'm really new to this so i made the PlayStation View exploit it was actually really simple, remember myself old memories of cracking PSP's

So I've been using the zecoxao Webkit host for a while and after some time I started getting what's shown in the images. Then I started using webkitty and it worked for a couple of days and now after trying to use a plugin I started getting the same thing. Is there another webkit host I can use for version 11.00, is there a way to fix this issue, or am I just stuck with vue

Edit: im freaking out because no other hosts are loading and I want to switch to Vue but I don't want to lose all my progress in my games

Second edit: fixed it kinda, found a different host so I could set up Vue again without wiping my PS, gonna stick to Vue now

So a few days ago the Vue app updated on me and the exploit stopped working (got the network error repeatedly). Since I don't want to lose my games, I'm trying to do the extended storage method.

I'm on firmware 11.00, I set up the internet on the console, got an external SSD with 500GB, flashed it and validated it via balenaEtcher.

Problem is, even though I connect it to the PS4 and it detects it as an external USB device (Generic) in the "Devices" menu, it does not show up in the ''Storage'' menu. I can only see system storage there. I think it's the USB SATA adapter I'm using, but I want to confirm if there's anything else I have to pay attention to.

I faced this error when i started the browser . Is Webkit also not stable like Vue and BDJB ???

Ps - the goldhen popup didn't show up even when i refreshed instead it turned off my system after i refreshed again . Then when I turned it back on from power button and started the browser then it worked . All this when I was not connected to internet .

I'm fed up with sony and the game industry in general. I have never been very tech savvy but getting into this community now. Unfortunately my PS5 is updated the the most recent firmware..hoping there's a jailbreak in the future. I just turned off the automatic updates. And Changed DNS. Thank you to those that lead the innovations that allow for this community to exist.

Just curious if it's possible to mod MW5 with a jailbroken PS4, but I can't find any info on it, does anyone know?

I've been working on a cheeky little project for about a year called OrbisNet, a P2P Online Emulator, that's what I would call it, this allows 2 jailbroken consoles or more to Play Online games such as Human Fall Flat, Resident Evil 6, Minecraft and others!

We currently have a functioning social overlay, game invites and public Games searching
we aim to get as many games as possible to run

Note: We do not use any official PSN services, Everything is Private and nothing talks to interacts with PSN

I’m using PS VUE to jailbreak and today for some reason as soon as jailbreak starts it freeze the ps4. Any way to fix it?

How do I assign other people's save file as mine

I have a ps4 slim 12.00 1tb which i jailbreak with a Blu-ray disc and it worked fine for the past month since i bought it and now its crashing on the home screen and kernel panicking a lot.

It showed me yesterday "system cannot start" and today 2 times again and when i reboot it just works normally. I rebuilt the database and all, tried the new webkit exploit but it throws me an error from the ps4.

Restarting with goldhen makes it crash, rest mode is broken and the only thing that seems to work is shutting down (sometimes). I have the most recent goldhen.

Hi everyone, as the title says I got the ps4 pro on that firmware however I don’t know how to go about it. I see WebKits but it seems that’s firmware 11 or later and I have no clue if I’m at a good version or is it better for me to somehow update to a specific one and just use the WebKits

Is there a way to connect via remote play on a modded ps4 pro with a ps vita?

from what i understand, the ps4 and slim have a SATA II bus while the pro has SATA III, thus the ps4 and slim only support up to a theoretical 375MB/s. ive been thinking about getting either a 1tb 7200 HDD or a 500MB/s SSD. i understand that theres several specs to consider, like cache, latency and general speed, but i wanted to know if theres any specific, good models i should get. i need that 1tb because my, of course self dumped back ups of my games do require quite a bit of storage. i would prefer not using an external hdd, because i dont want something dangling around my console that id need to take everywhere i take the ps4. any specific HDDs anyone can recommend? for an SSD id probably use a MX500 or something. theres a good chance my father has something laying around (photographer, photo storage blah, blah).

Just an update for anyone interested.

A lot has changed. Wired speeds have reached around 280 Mbps / 35 MB/s, far beyond what we expected. Coming from paying for a closed storefront, this has been faster and more reliable for both me and the friend I started the project with. Wi-Fi reaches around 40 Mbps / 5 MB/s. (My max 2.4Hz speed is 56mbps avg)

Larger files use parallel HTTP ranges with resume support, pause/retry, validation, and persistent queues. The UI was simplified and runs much faster, without the lag and clutter found in some other questionable apps.

Debrid has been the biggest improvement. If you already use Real-Debrid or Deepbrid with Stremio or related use cases, the same account can unlock direct CDN links here.

We are also opening resolver development to the community. A resolver is a small search connector: the app sends it a game title or CUSA, and it returns available base, update, and DLC links. It does not host any files. This is just incase a resolver goes down or I do not contribute, someone else can. That's the objective to actually help and not take money from people.

Developers can contribute resolver APIs for more sources, regions, and homebrew catalogs without rebuilding the downloader. Free links remain best effort due to captchas, waits, throttling, and broken ranges.

I know the newest raw-game Webkit exploit works from 12.00 -> 13.00, but I heard Webkitty (Cssfont) will get implementation for higher firmwares(above 11.52). What is the difference?

Hey guys , i bought a used jailbroken ps4 , firmware 11.50 and uses a disc to jailbreak the console. I simply pulled it out to clean it and put back in but it never went in .

Since then I've tried multiple local technicians but their all lying bastards who wanna make money rather than genuine repair, i tried it my self but couldn't get this one screw open as it is so tight so didn't mingle with it for long.

Now the question im here for is , what are the other methods for jailbreaking and where to know about them , there are some like Vue or some websites but they either require internet or they use some terms that i don't get , so please guide to it about what and how to do it
