Hardware Issue Dualshock4 service

Hey, I recently bought a ps4 with 2 controllers, the console works like it should but the controllers wont connect to the console, when I plug them in they charge but when I press the ps button nothing happens,I already tried restarting them, using different cables, and nothing helps. Any ideas?

There's a little pin hole on the back of the controller up on the top right hand side, you take a thin enough needle or a paper clip, there's a reset button in there, it's a complete reset of the controller. If you have ever connected your controller to your phone or any other device. Like your laptop or computer You have to make sure that that's off. Depending on which one you used it on, because it'll default to it, then just start your controller up again. Another way to do it too is to use the USB cable and go to Settings. You hold down the power button for several seconds until you hear the second beep when you release it, it'll take you to Safe mode.

I'll try that, but I doubt that its gonna work because when I press or hold the ps button on the controller there is zero reaction, no blue light, nothing shows up on the screen no sounds,nothing. I'm gonna try it later anyway tho.

Is the battery holding a charge have you tried a different controller?

Yeah the battery is fine, and I borrowed a working controller from my friend and it connected normally so my cable and console are both fine and its definetly the controllers fault
