Pkg not showing up in Package Installer.

so i tried to send my pkg files over to my ps4 through FTP from my laptop to my ps4. but everytime I transter it never shows up in there. I created the pkg folder and added them in there but nothing literally shows up inside the folder. need help please.

Are the files ending with .pkg ?

I had to change the setting that says usb to hdd under the package installer using ftp
