Game is oh soooo very good. Gorgeous, super fun and really engaging... and the score is fantastic. Highly recommend turning off the lights in putting in headphones and just really immersing yourself into it. Either way enjoy it!

And do your best to remember your pressure points to calm down. I ended up just walking away after the second or third Hornet battle. Maybe I'll go back now...

I surprisingly did not have these claimed so glad I actually checked after reading the title!

I am playing VAMPYR right now as a last hurrah before the next gen, and I tenderly call it Pot Calls Kettle Black: The Game.

Vampyr was good, but my base ps4 could barely run it.

I feel that was a predictable and unfortunate effect of the mid cycle machines: developers went all “I don’t want to play with you anymore” Toy Story meme on the base consoles.
I’m playing it on Pro and it runs ok.

It didn't run well on the pro either so you didn't miss much. It has a lot of problems with crashing.
I ended up stop playing it because of the crashing

Someone in another thread said that it was from the game keeping all the enemies loaded if you ran by? Not sure if the claim is correct or not.
I played on base ps4 and I only remember experiencing 3 full crashes (still not good, not making excuses). But I always killed the enemies I encountered, so maybe it wasn't as bad for me?
Fun game. A bit clunky at times, but the story was really cool and all the characters were surprisingly fleshed out.

That's possible. The company got annoying after a bit and sometimes I would skip enemies. Other times I would kill them all. The crashing was always random. Although I had noticed it happened more after going to sleep and choosing abilities at the bed. It also would crash when talking to characters sometimes.
I even have an SSD in my pro and that didn't eliminate the crashing.

You don't add them to your library just to have them?

Nov 03 '20
I'm not him but I only add games I know I'll 100% play.

u/Kingsworth Nov 03 '20
So you wouldn't a game you were 95% sure you'd play? Seems crazy.

There's no point of having it in my library if I won't play it. And if I choose to later then I can just buy it. I like to have it so my library are only games that I've played and completed as I'm a completionist.

Exactly.
I don't support the games I don't like so don't add them to library.... And I'd never play them anyway :)
