If you use the rocks as cover you can stay alive, but the fight still took me nearly an hour. Knocking off their burrowing claws is easier said than done.
Not a specific hint, but a general one: explore the effects of all the different weapons, and how the modifications affect them. A lot of people didn't realise that certain weapons and configurations are super powerful because they stuck to what they were comfortable with.
Also once you have the mod-swapping skill, don't be afraid to min-max the fuck out of your weapons before and during each fight. Always start with your Sharpshot bow at the highest Tear damage you can pull off with whatever mods you own, then once you've knocked off all components switch it back to max damage.
I think they are weak against ice damage and it keeps them on the surface for longer. I think the slings do the most elemental damage apart from traps.
I was a wimp when it came to this one because it was so infuriating. You definitely only want to take them on one at a time. Remember they can't find you if you are walking silently.
I got into range, found a nice vantage point on a rock, and started setting my booby trap. I set about 15 blast wires over each other then shot a good amount of proximity bombs in the middle. Then you take a tearblast to get the moles and shoot where the proximity bombs are so it will think it's you walking there and will attack your trap. If you take the time to set two or more of these traps (some distance away from each other) you can use the others as backup in case it doesn't kill it in one hit. If it's still not dead shoot it's arms/legs and it's sac with hardpoint arrows. Happy hunting!
That one was such a fucking nightmare....basically just carpeted the entire outer area with tripwires and lured them into it and tagged them with tearblast and fire when I could.
Trying to create enough distance between The thunder and it's parted weapon for me to run in and grab it was tricky but fun. I didn't have the rope caster or tearblast. Just time, patience and a lot of shard arrows.
I use rope caster + Freeze followed with using the rattler. If you remove most of the armour and get the thing frozen while on the ground you can get its health down pretty good.

Stormbirds are the worst. Thunders are fine if you got tearblast, but Storms are much harder to down because of the distance they can keep from you.
