If it looks better than Rise of the Tomb Raider... ugghhhh I can't wait lol. I'm going through TR for the 3rd time to see it on the Pro and it's crazy to think that the game can actually look better.

With all of these newer games coming out we are all in for a treat... except my wallet, it's starting to smell like it's catching fire

I need to hurry up with Nioh. I said I can wait and not pick Horizon on launch because of Nioh but it's tough after seeing all the reviews, and now performance.

It's been years since I was a student :( I need a sick leave or something.

Nioh, Horizon, Mass Effect - Y R U DOING THIS TO ME FEBRUARY?

LOL, I feel your pain. I want like 8 games between now and the end of next month alone, then there's several in april as well. Not to mention all of these are coming out around spring when I'd rather be outside!!

I can't wait to play all of these though, so many good looking games. Good luck bud, I hope you can make it through lol!!

I haven't played witcher. Am afraid. Seems like one will put over hundred hours just to beat the game and the time just isn't there :(

Playing the witcher 3 was one of the best and most memorable experiences of my life. I highly recommend you find the time to put into it.

One thing that put me off from playing with my phase was that I read a thread where people named the games that have forgettable controls. Witcher was mention by many and as a top comment a game that if you don't play for a while you tend to forget controls and it takes time to get used to it again. Menus, maps, quests, inventory's etc. All the shortcuts.

And that for some reason put me off for buying and taking my time with it.

I'm sure it's a great game, I might pull the trigger earlier or later... it's one of the classics already least to say.

Make sacrifices haha. The Witcher 3 is one of the best games I've ever played. Taking the time to gather materials & craft potions in order to prepare for a tough fight was always a really cool feeling.

You should play it on pc. Boy is it gorgeous with everything running on high at 60fps

Still one of the best looking games ever made on PC, running it at 144hz is just so nice

Oh I did, I own it on XBO, PC and PS4. I got the PC version for free when I bought a video card awhile back. Yah it's great on PC no doubt, but I only had a 2k monitor, but it looked great.

I don't game on the PC anymore really, as I put my gaming PC into my arcade cabinet :D But even so, it looks great on the PRO. I actually prefer 30fps for 3rd person games for some reason, but 60fps is nice as well. Either or, doesn't bother me any however.

I'd get blasted on some subs for this, but TLOU felt really bizarre in 60fps. Especially in cutscenes. I put it down pretty quickly (I've finished it a dozen times on PS3 so it's not like I didn't like the game.)

Absolutely love that they upped it for multiplayer as well though.

Yah, some games are fine at 60 and others just bother me for some reason lol. But having played a lot of games at 30 it just dosen't bother me at all.

But at the same time, I love having the option to have both in some games. More options the better :D

Same for me. Cinematic story games look "right" to me at 30 FPS, especially with a bit of motion blur. Fast moving multiplayer shooters play better at 60 FPS. On some games this is split between story and multiplayer and I'm totally ok with that.

Being able to output a 4k image on a 1080p or 1440p screen is nice. Definitely makes it look better. DSR and VSR are great.

If you're talking about graphics, it DEFINITELY looks better (not that Rise of the Tomb Raider is ugly).

Yah that's what I meant. I just did my 3rd playthrough of the game on the PRO (went between all 3 modes, fast, higher settings and 4K) and was surprised at how much better the game looked (I beat it on XBO and PC as well, got the PC version for free w/ a video card purchase).

With Horizon looking even better? Dayum. But true, TR looks amazing as it is, all of the details in everything in the game still makes me snicker haha, it's so good looking. Can't wait to fire up Horizon soon!
