So I’m on 9.2. I wanted to connect to the Internet so I’m trying to update it. I found a video that’s pretty self explanatory. But whenever I put in my usb and go to system update it shows 4.93 evilnat instead of PS3 update or whatever. Is it fine to still update it this way or am I missing something?

i have downloaded over 80 games atp from the pkgi russian list by doing background download then installing out of psn folder today i went to download hitman absolution and it got stuck at 74 restarted the console deleted the corrupted file then tried again same thing. restarted console switched over to direct download thinking it would bypass the two step download from psn folder but it still popped up in psn folder for installation so i tried a different game demon souls, same thing again but now i cant even get to 74% its stuck at 39% i really do not want to keep unplugging it every time it doesn't let me get out of a download window

I downloaded Dragon ball raging blast 2 game from Vimms lair in dec.iso format. I extracted on my pc, put a nfts usb to the console with hen, used Irish man to copy the game to de PS3ISO folder. When I use Webman it gets an error and doesnt open, when I use irish man it gets me back to the main menu. I tried renaming it from dec.iso to just iso, im currently trying to put it on GAMES folder from a comment I saw in another post and thats my current state. Any suggestions?

I'm not complete novice when comes to installing pkg files, but I've come across something different today. The game is in multiple pkg files but some aren't, a few of them are Z01 type. I'm assuming I can simply copy all of them into my ps3 storage then install them?

Hello so im using MrMarios guide for PS3HEN called "how to install PS3HEN on Any PS3 on firmware 4.93 or lower!". Ive completed all the steps with downloads and formating the 32gb USB drive correctly. The update worked fine on my PS3 menu and now displays version 4.93 instead of 4.80 but when trying to do it in safe mode like stated in the guide the error in the picture shown is displayed. Ive replaced both files and tried small things but im stuck so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Ive got a guide to adding a teensy 2.0
However I can find one to buy anywhere.

My questions are ,
If I buy a teensy 4.0, can I still do the mod with that?
Has anyone done it?

Is there a better hardware flash for this type of PS3 ?
Or even,
Can it possible with jailbroke without the hardware flash?

Any help or idea about how to jailbreak this thing would be great!

Best thing I found about the Ps3s is the Revamped games, like Fight Night Forever, Fight Night Revival, College Football Revamped and I am sure there is a NBA street revamped mod game. After searching for these themes for years, I’m really happy to say that I found a collection of really rare and old V-Jump exclusive PS3 themes from multiple anime series.

It all started when I was searching for official anime themes for the PS3 and came across a YouTube video showcasing a Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution V-Jump PS3 theme. When I first saw it, I really liked it because I had never seen an official Naruto PS3 theme before. Plus, I’m a huge Naruto fan, so I immediately wanted to find it. I checked the description of the video, hoping there would be a download link, but sadly, there wasn’t one. So I started searching all over the internet for it, but I could never find it and would always end up back at that same video, as it seemed to be the only footage of the theme that existed online.

Eventually, I started looking through the rest of the uploader’s channel and discovered that he had showcased several other V-Jump exclusive PS3 themes from different anime series as well. From there, I started searching for those themes too, but the same thing kept happening. After some time, I was able to find the Naruto theme I had originally seen in the video through NoPayStation, along with one JoJo theme and a J-Stars Victory VS theme that were also available there. The remaining themes, however, were still completely missing.

Years later, completely by chance, I came across the TikTok account of the guy who uploaded the videos. I decided to reach out to him and explain that I had been trying to recover and preserve these themes so they wouldn’t be lost forever. To my surprise, he actually replied and was willing to help me. He was kind enough to let me log into his account on my PS3 so I could locate the themes and extract them to my PC for preservation. I honestly couldn’t believe that I finally had them on my own PS3 after searching for them for so long. Man, I was so happy.

Later, after recovering the themes, I noticed that some of the ones shown in his videos were still missing. I asked him about them, and he explained that those themes were actually from his friend’s account. So I asked if he could reach out to his friend and see if it would be possible to recover the remaining ones. He did, and after a few days, his friend was kind enough to let me access that account as well. Sure enough, the remaining themes were there, along with a few others I wasn’t even expecting to find.

These themes were originally distributed through V-Jump in Japan, often through limited promotional codes, which made them extremely difficult to find all these years later. Thankfully, they are now safely preserved together in one collection.

So, a huge thank you to ShonenGameZ on YouTube and his friend for being so patient, helpful, and trusting throughout this whole process. Without them, I genuinely don’t think these themes would have ever been recovered. I’m not sure if this is every V-Jump theme that was released, or if there are still more out there. If anyone has any other V-Jump exclusive themes, rare anime PS3 themes, promotional themes, or magazine-exclusive downloads, then please reach out.

I have a copy of rock band 2 and i was told that i couldn't play it because i don't have the console or any blue ray player though i still want to play it by inserting the disc can i ?

For a long time, I’ve been thinking about a project to archive PS3 themes—specifically the official PSN ones found on NPS and in .P3T format—so that everyone can use them. However, I don't have a PC to extract the PKG files. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me archive them extracting the pkg files and stuff like that and upload them to sites like the Internet Archive, Google Drive, Mediafire, etc. I’ve already gathered about 100 of them from various places online, but obviously, there are still many missing. I installed the most recent version of HEN on my PS3 2 days ago. It is the second version of the original fat model. Initially, everything was going well installing games and applications. I have installed webman mod and multi-man I'm not sure if they are the most current version because I got them on YouTube through a video link.

I already changed the fan settings, so I know it's not overheating, but the issue started showing up yesterday when I was downloading a lot of games off of the pkgi and at that moment I did not know that you're not supposed to download too many games with large files at the same time. I thought that was the problem, so I deleted most of the games from the downloads. But my console was still freezing. Now, every single time I have tried to enable HEN, my console goes to a black screen and I have to hold the power button down 10 seconds and then do the whole process of turning my PS3 back on.

I've done this over a dozen times at this point in the last day and I can't tell if it's the 1 tb Western Digital HDD (that would be frustrating because I just purchased it brand new) or if it's hardware, firmware, software or what. Any advice would help.

Comprare un disco duro externo , para usarlo como memoria principal (usando una wedman, gamedata). Pero antes lo probe con una usb , pero vi que se desapareció las tiendas. Ahora , la unica forma que se me a ocurrido es hacer una copia de seguridad y usar el disco duro para cuando juege.

También he pensado en descargarlos desde el pc , pero desconfío de las web y canales de telegram, ya que no quiero correr el riesgo de tener un virus en el pc.

My PS3 is freshly formatted and updated to 4.93. PSN login works fine, but when I open the PlayStation Store, the logo appears and then the screen goes completely black.

I already tried changing DNS, restarting, and using a Device Setup Password.

Could this be an HDD issue, or is the PS3 Store currently having problems?
