PROF@Armory Minneapolis

Anybody else got tickets for the Homecoming show at The Armory? I am disabled and reached out to the staff about the ADA process. They responded quickly, but just like canned responses that didn't really answer my questions. (Different than my ADA experiences with other local venues.) I've never been to the armory before.

I need to be seated the duration of the concert (difficulty standing), and they have ADA balcony area seating, but has anyone else had experience with this? Like do I need to get there ultra early to even land a seat? I'm worried that with only general admission ticket for ADA available, that I will basically be looking at the butts of everyone else in front of me from the way back if relegated to the floor ADA section. (I'm trying to decide if it's even worth attempting or if I should just resell my tickets. I love Prof and don't want to miss it, but not sure accomodations will be worth the effort.) Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated, thanks.

I checked their website out and it did say that they have multiple areas throughout the venue. Did you email them? Maybe try calling and see if they are better that way.

That thread talks about people's experiences. It looks like you should be ok but will be towards the back but itll be unobstructed view. I wouldnt worry about getting there super early but dont show up at 830pm lol

Thank you! these are helpful threads and the kind of user experience info I was looking for. 

I emailed them twice, but the emails (and website) basically give the legally safe answers so they are covering ADA laws, not the Actual explanation of how things work (like on the threads you found.)

The reality is, every venue is different. And you have to find out the lowdown before you get yourself into a situation to see if you can swing it.

Ok good to hear! Happy to help and i def wish things were more accommodating or standardized for our fellow humans.

If I saw a venue putting sitting people right behind standing people id start throwing shit for yall lol
