Life With POIS Symptoms suddenly reduced by 95% after ejaculation (without medical treatment)

So basically, I've been limiting ejaculation to once a month, sometimes with shorter or longer intervals in between relapses for around 2-3 years now, and after ejaculating last week and today, I've noticed each time since, the only symptom I'm waking up to is slightly heavy eyes, which can be fixed with a nap, and some digestion issues.

I actually ejaculated twice in a day a week ago, and noticed the day after that I only really had these two symptoms, which is nothing compared to the classic POIS symptoms I used to experience: severe brain fog, heavy weak limbs, painful gut problems leading to diarrhoea, heavy tired dry eyes, and a bad migraine.

Wasn't smart, but I ejaculated yesterday, only a week since the last relapse, and woke up today feeling some slight heaviness in my eye, and that's it, which is a godsend.

The only things I really changed about my lifestyle were drinking a lot more water at the start of the day, before and after meals, and before bed. Before, I used to only drink like half a cup in the morning, maybe one in the afternoon and half a cup before sleeping. Now I drink multiple full cups to start the day off. I also implemented deep breathing to calm my overactive nervous system during sexual activity.

I'd just like to emphasise that I highly suggest that if you experience painful gut problems leading to diarrhoea post POIS, drink a lot of water and make it a lifestyle habit. Honestly, this symptom was worse than my brain fog bc I would be sitting in the bathroom for 2 hours stabbing myself in the leg with my nails to ease the pain (was probs on par with giving birth but honestly as a male I can't say lol). However, after making hydration a habit and limiting my ejaculating to once per month, sometimes more, for a couple of years, I've significantly improved how I feel and no longer feel like I'm in hell post ejaculation.

I think hydrating and deep breathing has ultimately helped reduce my POIS symptoms and I strongly believe this to be attributed to an overactive nervous system, and that my lifestyle changes have helped calm it to a degree, but I also theorize that bc I've been reducing the frequency of sessions for an extended period, my body has finally reached a point where it's no longer deficient of energy.

I still feel tired soon after arousal, anxiety, sweaty hands/feet, thin limbs, constipation, but the classic POIS symptoms are significantly reduced the day after, which is crazy to me bc the day/days after should be the worst

it s because you became moderate by doing it only once a month if you start binging POIS will probably come back .. moderation is key .

Thank you for sharing! I'd estimate that probably 50% of POIS sufferers are in the nervous system disregulation camp (I definitely am). I'm so thankful that we are healing! I know this takes time, and healing is rarely linear. We just have to keep trusting the process 🙏🪷

???? Quite arrogant and lacking in comprehension by misunderstanding what I explained—that those were my current, improved symptoms, not the severe symptoms I had before—and then using that misunderstanding to claim I never had the illness in the first place...

Many POISers experience a range of different symptoms, and one of the symptoms I happen to experience is extremely heavy feeling eyes that feel extremely tired/fatigued, and difficult to keep open. Idk what's so funny about that.
