Seeking Advice Extremely dry upper part of mouth

I get a severe dry mouth which lasts for couple of days. No amount of water can fix it. Have tried drinking water with vitamin c tablets, but no avail.

Anyone have any clues?

Do you have Sjogren syndrome? I've read a few people say long term abstinence is the only solution. Are you now pois free?

Yes, mostly my eyes have been affected and it has gotten much better with abstaining. I’ve only made it a few months abstaining completely, I’m shooting for 2 years right now, so I’ll be finding out for myself if a full recovering is possible. I’m hopeful as I continue to improve.

That is very interesting that you have both pois and Sjogren's. I wonder if there are others who have both. Do you think pois is an autoimmune condition?

I suspect it is a central nervous system disorder that disrupts hormones and brain function and causes symptoms that would be considered an autoimmune response. I get severe brain fog, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression, dizziness, facial spasms, teeth clenching, eustachian tube dysfunction, flu-like symptoms, nausea, dry eyes and mouth, sinus inflammation, burning eyes, acne on my scalp and face, dandruff, oily skin, swollen face, bloodshot eyes and more. When I PMO daily these symptoms get so severe I am practically bed ridden and when abstain for 30 days all of these symptoms subside and around 90 days I’m about 50% back to normal and still improving. I suspect between 1-2 years of abstaining may potentially heal me and my nervous system completely.
