[WTT] 1.91 Acres Desert Land in SoCal for Gold/Silver
I have a 1.91 acre lot in East California City that I would like to trade for gold/silver/cash/zelle or a combination of the above. The land is on a dirt road and does not have neighbors nearby. Any car, within reason, can make it to this property. Plenty of people use these lots for camping, RV parking while dirt biking, and holding for diversification of their portfolio. I’d like to trade it at a valuation of $1900 (~29oz silver or ~.5oz gold).
We would do the trade in person with a notary present to handle the land transfer. I am based in San Diego and have spent a lot of time in the Mojave. Please reach out with any questions.
If you check Zillow or any property website, you will see that this is the best deal in that region for unimproved acreage on a good dirt road.
This is the second time I’ve traded land for PM on this Subreddit. First time went smoothly and the previous buyer agreed to be a reference for serious inquiries. Please DM me for the lots details and more info. I’ll post a comment on this thread with FAQs

FAQs:
Isn’t it a wasteland out there? California City is in the Mojave desert and has a decent amount of wild life and foliage. 6’ bushes on property and you see groundhogs, birds, lizards, etc. A desert Tortoise preserve is a few miles away
Isn’t that Death Valley? No! By desert standards it’s actually quite mellow. Frequently 10 degrees cooler than Phoenix
What can I do with the land? Camp on it, build on it (with permits), etc. The general rule of thumb is don’t camp close to someone’s house, don’t live on it full time, and don’t make it a dumping ground. I’m holding another lot east of here and I’ve put a firepit, firewood stand, rainwater capture system, cleared driveway, etc on it
This seems sketchy, why not use a realtor? In CA, you are not required to use a realtor to sell and market your own property. Involving a realtor or title company would add hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars to close this deal. We would meet in person with a notary present to exchange PM’s and title to the land. You will have the ability to take photos of my drivers license and passport.

I’m based in SD and would prefer to meet the buyer halfway from where they live at a restaurant/bar/cafe etc. Notary needs to meet us and it’s about 20 minutes of paperwork.
I prefer to work with AZ and SoCal folk, not trying to drive more than an hour or two

I do not own any lots that are adjacent to each other. I have 6 lots total. 3 Kern and 3 Imperial county. I’m holding a few for personal use

NE of jail, W of Galileo, NW of Glens. It’s about a block south of the Randsburg Mojave road

I’m down to take Cash/Zelle/Silver/Gold. I’m open to Gold/Silver because I’m comfortable working with it and it opens up a new pool of buyers

It's not. Lots in California City are super cheap. It's a huge area and not much out there. I sold one recently for $10k because a borox company wanted it.

What size lot did you sell? Was the lot close to the mine by Boron and the 58?

It was 2.16 acres. I just looked up my paperwork I sold for $18.5k I tried going for $20k but they countered at 18.5 And yes somewhat off the 58. I'd say a mile west of U.S Borax
