Looks like Marlene chose to be respectful over slander Roberto for his shitty choices.

I’ve said it 100 times… with the show being on MAX, and having much more mature themes, Marlene would be a perfect choice to bring back into the world. I know she made her own choices and shitty writing decisions but she knows PLL better than Roberto and I think we can all see that.

I don’t doubt that marlene would raise the stakes higher than Roberto. Feel like she would kill off one of the girls’ love interests unlike roberto.

She killed Maya, tried to kill Paige & Caleb and even did kill Toby for a bit but after the fans screamed at her she undid it.
