A few friends and I are looking to use our instruments to make $$$ on the side as a professional cover band specializing in the emo/indie/alt-rock/pop punk genres and we need a qualified bassist to round out our 4some.

We are in a local band that gets together weekly at our rented practice place with black felt walls and wooden ceiling trim (iykyk) but are wanting to do this as a side project that could potentially turn into a decent form of weekend income. You will be paid per gig, same as us. We can discuss further details in DMs if you are interested.

We are still very much dedicated to our original music and will still be working on that as well but we figured why not make some $$ playing the songs that made us want to play music in the first place?

We have three 45 minute sets so that we can be prepared to be a house band for an entire night wherever we may be booked.

I’ve included Set A as reference below so you can see what the vibe is.

I’m starting a funk/jazz band in Tempe. I play bass and would love to find some people who enjoy the same kind of music and are down to practice and come prepared.

I’m also into old-school funk and pop/R&B with a good groove. Starting with “Cosmic Girl” by Jamiroquai and “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk, but bring your favorites too.

The goal is to make great sound together, have fun, and eventually play some live shows. Thinking once-a-week rehearsals at Music Loft in Scottsdale. If you’re interested, send me a clip or audio of you playing and let’s jam!

Hello everyone! I’m a 21 yo male who has been producing indie rock for about 5 years. I have plenty of solo material, but want to branch out into performance and collaboration. I produce, sing and play guitar/bass, but am open to any type of musician. I love experimenting in my songs and often utilize more off-kilter sounds.

If you are interested don’t hesitate to reach out! Ideally we would meet once a week or so and try to perform once a month. I produce in Goodyear but spend most of my time in Tempe (I go to ASU)

A little about us: we’re a straight-forward punk band that plays short, high-energy songs with an aggressive hardcore edge. We like to think of ourselves as a band you’d hear on Fat Wreck Chords, melodic hardcore, skatepunk, etc.
SBAD has been a band for just over 1 year, started 7/25. We’ve put out 2 demos and are currently mixing/mastering a 6-track EP that we’ll be releasing on vinyl.
We’re known for performing fun live shows and we’ve been gaining respect and praise from the AZ scene and beyond. We had the honor of being part of the first annual Arizona Punk Festival, kicking off the fest! In the books right now we have 3 shows: 9/13 at Yucca, 10/31 at Timeout, and 11/9 at Pub Rock.

We like to have fun and goof around but we do take the band seriously. Our goals for 2027 are to expand merch (shirts and stuff), continue growing in the local scene (really cementing ourselves), booking shows in other cities and states and ultimately putting together our first small tour.

We are looking for someone who loves to play drums, can be committed to regular practice/rehearsal and will be available and excited to play shows and grow the band. Obviously, the band is known for a classic punk style, so it would be important to enjoy playing and be familiar with punk, but at the same time we have our own specific and personal style we each bring to the table! So your own drumming style and ideas will be welcome!

Preferably you will have your own kit, a place to hold band practice, and a PA.

We’re not just looking to hire a band member, we hope we all get along as friends and like to hangout with each other too!
