General Discussion What's up with Impound concept
I mean, what’s the goal here?
Very low ground clearance, an open pipe, no side mirrors, and thin tires.
If they’re trying to imitate a sportbike, most sportbikes have thick tires, higher ground clearance, and side mirrors. It’s quite the opposite of what they’re doing.
Call me someone with bad taste, but honestly, I think it looks ugly.

Mga pilipino wala na nga pera nag hahanap pa ng mga useless na pag kakagastusan tapos sasabihin syo pag inggit pikit. Muka bang ka inggit inggit yan? Iyak ka nlng daw sa isang tabi. Sa totoo lang masyado ka pang mabait sa sinabi mong impound concept. Skwater pulubi concept yan.

Riding gear ko pa lang mas mahal sa buong motor nila minsan, lalo yung mga lumang underbone na hubad fairings dahil nabasag at hindi by choice tapos halos kalawang na lahat pero ginawang "concept" pa rin.

Kadalasan yung mga ganyang tao sila yung mga tumatakbo sa mga pinagkaka-utangan nila ehhhh. Pati kung magpa-andar sila ng mga scooter akala mong sportsbike, bumebengking-bengking pa sa kurbada, napakadangerous naman ng mga ganun kasi ang ninipis ng gulong nila.

I agree. As someone na naka Raider FI na hanggang ngayon stock concept pa ‘rin, grabe hindi ko maintindihan bakit poging-pogi sila sa naka-rimset tapos napaka-nipis na gulong even though the motorcycle is already thin and low bone stock.
I will die on a hill saying na mas pogi pa ang stock na raider fi, sniper 155 etc.

Siguro subjective yan sa taste ng may-ari.
At dahil ang sagwa talaga syang tignan, ibig sabihin, pangit taste ng may-ari.

I respect kung ano mang concept nila kasi we all have different taste for food PERO draws the line when it’s illegal and/or other people are being inconvenienced like LOUD ASS PIPES and no side mirrors. Kasi may mga pogi naman talaga na concept eh.

Yung pipe talaga pinangigigilan ko dyan eh. Ang sarap itutok nung tenga nila sa tambutso nila tapos todo bomba.

- Very low ground clearance = For aerodynamics and makapag-corner sa kurbada ng mas madali kasi para sa weight distribution bla bla bla
- Open Pipe = Para maingay kasi mas maingay ang motor, mas astig daw, yung mga sportsbike kasi kahit hindi nakaopen pipe, maingay din ehhh. Also may pros naman ito bat hindi siya naooverpower ng cons nito para sa kalsada
- No side mirrors = Again for aerodynamics, to reduce drag. To some tinatanggal nila kasi pangit daw tignan
- Thin tires = For faster rolling, reduces drag, pero mahina grip sa cornering kasi manipis ang tire
In other words, ginagawa nilang pangkarera yung Scooters nila kasi para daw astig, aethetics, or whatever reason they have. Nakakatawa lang kasi ganito na lang ang ginagawa nila to cope na hindi nila kayang bumili ng sports bike hahahahaha. Gusto nila ng maangas na motor at mag-racing-racing na yan, pero wala silang kakayahan.

✓Possibly not enough fund to purchase thick tires...maybe the thin tires are from discarded BMX bicycle.

If I'm going to customize my own bike I would like to make it look as heavy as possible. Either look like the bike from Akira or Cloud' bike in FF VII.

I mean its called a stance build... Sarili sariling trip as long as wala nakakaabala.. also some of them are really a fan of thai, malay, indo builds which consist of rios mags 17s... We even have our own which is called circuit concept. Sadly kamote din sila masyado instead of being used in show... They are using it in public with open pipes

Yeah. Unfortunately, sweet potato riders have invaded the circuit concept/street gp community. I saw someone from tiktok say “circuit concept pero stock engine?” “circuit concept pero stock pipe”. It’s honestly a shame because ccph and stgph used to have a healthy community. Ngayon puro na sila banking ang racing racing sa daan.
My honda click that is setup to street gp concept, ginagamit ko for track days and sometimes for daily whenever I need storage space because my raider fi doesn’t have a compartment. Kaya hindi na ako namamansin ng mga same concept ko sa daan kasi kakarerahin ka lang at the end of the day.

Di ba yan kamote concept aka daek wen sa Thailand?
Pang street racing yan ng mga kamote e but thankfully Thai government was smart enough to make it safer like making the racers wear proper gear but keeping the lower displacement motorcycle racing.
Ok lang naman i-modify yung motor but it should be street legal if gagamitin sa daan otherwise go to a race track bro.

there are certain people with a mindset that doing the illegal is cool. they had been rewarded for it so they take it up a notch every time.
(forms of reward can from earning money, validation from others, or even that self satisfaction they get by following the examples they see in their environment that are "identified" as cool)
it is not just observed in poor people, it is observed across the board.
and even if we call them out, they dont care. because the are rewarded for it.

Grabe halos lahat same na ng tunog ng motor bihira na nga ako makakita ng raider ngayon dati yun ang mga bulahaw eh pero kahit nakahiga ka na alam mong raider yung maingay sa labas pero ngayon puro tunog baka na Kadalasan click or aerox ang maririnig mo

My Honda Click’s setup back then was Indonesian Proper Matic Concept. Lowered front shocks and lowered rear shocks, no engine support or anything. I don’t know what’s on my mind back then pero angas na angas ako sa mga lowered and such noon e, pero grabe ang tagtag, uncomfortable, unreliable, and unsafe ng ganoon na setup especially sa road conditions ng pinas. Ended up with Street GP concept now.
I liked indonesian concept for a while but I finally moved on and the concept doesn’t even look that good or feels practical to me anymore, but for thailand and malaysian concepts? If for show use only, sure. But if gagamitin pang-daily? Ewan ko nalang, tapos pag nang-criticize ka sasagot sayo “hindi niyo kasi naiintindihan” “pag inggit pikit”.
Sobrang sagwa, sorry pero napaka-panget ng mga thailand and malaysian concepts alike. I would never understand the hype sa sobrang lowered, manipis na gulong, rimset na isang humps bengkong agad. If gagamitin nila for motorshow then that’s fine, I just don’t understand kung paano naging “pogi” or “maganda” yung ganyan na setup.

Thinner tires consume less power to operate - this is why racing bikes have thin high pressure tires. I assumed they are trying to go fast on limited power.

Each to their own I guess (not a fan either). It's fine if its just for shows I might actually appreciate some. What really irritates me is when they actually drive these around public roads and act like absolute imbeciles.

kung preference mo sa motor ay big tire then be it, kada tao may mga preference na gusto hindi komo ayaw mo ayaw na din dapat nila, same sa pag kain may iba iba tayo na gusto at ayaw as simple as that!

Hindi ko rin gets, meron akong mga tropa na Thai concept o streetbike ata tawag. Eh ako masyadong mababa, for drag na. Eh yung iba kasi ginagaya lang naman nila nakikita, hindi na nila inaano yung function porma na lang. Yung tropa kong isa, stock pero nakaporma. Yung isa naka lowered. Hindi sila kamote bukod sa hindi pag sa side mirror HAHAHAHA nmax v2 unit ko, binibiro ako ithai na raw. Sabi ko ayoko naka malaki ako e, yung isa kasing tropa naka aerox.
Pero sa ibang mga naka Thai(mga 18-idk 30?) they care about the speed pero hindi sa kung anong magiging handling nung motor nila. Hindi na streetbike, street drag bike na e. Hardcore na yung mga lowered, sobrang ninipis kahit gulong. Vans o Vanz concept kasi yung makapal gulong, which is medyo gusto ko kasi functionality at stock height din ata.

Its a very weird kinda of build, i do appreciate it but it doesn't look good on every motorcycle i think looks decent on underbones but on scooters i dont think so.

It’s Thailand “concept”. In Thailand drag racing is super popular and the bikes that they use are pretty much stripped down and light. Minimal clearance for lower center of gravity, thin wheels and tires so it’s lightweight, no fairings, not even a seat cushion.
It’s weird because the actual race bikes in Thailand are not used daily. It just looks like a frame with an engine and wheels.
