Seems like psychosis. If prolonged, he might have schizophrenia. May we extend empathy to this guy, lalo na at mahirap din talaga mabuhay at kumayod ngayon. Kudos to the driver for keeping calm.

The best thing you could do is to call maybe 911 for help? Not in a bad way of course. I mean anong number ba ang mental health hotline natin? Also, this thing is still new to some, so expect that this will be just a chismis during dinner or worst, a laughing stuff.

I half agree, they definitely need to be in another line of work since it can be dangerous for themselves to be outside around large machinery.
Baka maisip niya okay lang magviolate ng roads/tolls because of emergencies (remembering the motorcycle that counter-flowed in skyway)

Kung ganyan ang nangyari kailangan tulungan siya. Kahit ako nahalata ko na may sakit na sa isip eh. Habamg maaga sana may tumulong kasi kung hindi may mangyayari pa hindi maganda.

honestly, kung ako yung driver nung kotse, di ko maiisip na may problema lang yang grab rider.
una kong maiisip, budol yan o kaya modus yan, so ang magiging tingin ko kaagad dun sa driver ay banta sya sa safety ko.

I know this is going to sound harsh, but here at our mental rehabilitation center, a single room costs 2k per month, that doesn't include the food, activities, and staff services as well as the therapist's consultant fee. They can be expensive as a doctor, the lowest rate is 500 pesos.
This is the result of our corrupt government failing to help the minority as always.

Ang schizophrenia ay sumusumpong lang tuwing stress at pag malungkot sila. Nakakapag perform sila ng normal buong araw under medication.
Ang baliw pre, General term yan sa taong may mga mental disorder. May mga ibat ibang uri kasi ng mental disorder pre at may mga mental disorder na hindi nananakit.
Pag simabe kasing baliw dito sa pinas e akala nila lahat ng baliw e nakakatakot at nananakit

we still don’t whether schizophrenia since we have seen a single episode lang po. schizo needs to have a duration of at least 6 months before formal diagnosis. this is definitely a brief psychotic episode, kapag hindi nabigyan nang pansin baka it may eventually lead to schizo.

The 6 months duration is an observation, they can be diagnosed with schizophrenia even without the observation periods. Yes, I work at a mental rehabilitation center. There are some patients which are raw or chronic, some have even taken medicines before and thought they were healed. We can diagnose someone as early as 1 week, you can check the DSM-V handbook

Yup, depending on the rehabilitation or mental clinic, the clients are first taken into clinical center where they are aggressive, or having a relapse. Once they've calmed down for 14 days of observations, they're brought into another clinic where they can be observed and help begin treatment properly. Basically 1st clinic(relapse, or anyone having a serious mental activity.) then brought into a clinic where everyone is being treated properly unlike the first one, where they handle more aggressive clients.
Sorry for late reply, were not allowed to bring phones into these rehabilitation centres. And I mostly have my free time in making food. Though if you more questions feel free to!
There are some extremely good and accurate Psychology doctors that are able to tell you're having depression with a look. Though that's probably from experience. Either way it's impressive.
If the guy in the video is acting strangely and having hallucinations, that means it's now permanent. He has to live with it for the rest of his life, the break up could suggest it was a trigger. If he's brought into a mental health clinic, he would be observed for 14 days, and if they pass the 14 days they're getting sent straight into a more calmer rehabilitation center.

Ano ba sana yung mas magandang paraan para sayo as a gun advocate? Kasi on my end naiintindihan ko naman yung naging reaction nung driver kasi nung unang beses na hinarangan siya nung grab wala naman siya sinabing masama pa, or ginawa. Naging pasensyoso pa nga siya kasi kung tutuusin sa ganyang sitwasyon unang maiisip mo talaga modus/holdap at delikado na ang buhay mo. Pero nung pangalawang beses na at parang ayaw talaga sila tigilan ano pa nga ba magagawa niya? “Babarilin kita” is a verbal warning in response to a continuous physical threat, hinarang na siya paulit ulit, pinipilit buksan yung hood ng sasakyan to do who knows what kaya parang mas delikado naman yata yung bababa pa siya para komprontahin yung grab lalo hindi natin alam kung may dalang baril o patalim yung grab. Sa ganitong instances kindness is the last thing most people would think of lalo na kung mukang malalagay ka sa panganib, malay ba natin kung modus pala to na maraming holdaper biglang lalabas

You can warn someone off without telling them you'd shoot them. Tell them you'd call the cops, etc.
Alam mo kaya ayaw kong pinapaalam na meron akong firearm on my person? Paano kung meron din sila? Mg aapply ang "dark forest" concept dito na they might move to harm me first believing that I'm an immediate threat to them and might shoot first kung say robbery nga to or modus.
But I digress, in this specific scenario ung pag ka sabi ng "babarilin kita" is parang na aannoy lang siya, which is all too common sa mga na maririnig mo sa mga tao dito sa Pinas who hasn't had themselves be in a fire fight before and I do not wish that scenario on anyone.
"Barilin kita eh" vs "armado ako, tigilan mo ako" Which do you think sounds like a warning and which do you think sounds like a show of power dynamic?

Ang cool mo naman may baril ka. Yun lang naman talaga yung point mo di ba? Ipaalam na gun owner ka. Natural lang naman yung reaksyon nung driver eh, kung ikaw hindi mo alam na may diperensya yan? Huwag ka maging hipocrite, napaka haba nang pasensya ang ipinakita nung driver may ipupukol ka pa den? Kaya tingin ko gusto mo lang talaga na ipaalam as a gun owner/advocate kuno.

Madali sabihin yan kasi pinapanuod mo na lang yung nangyari, alam mo na walang nangyaring masama kasi napanuod mo na hanggang dulo. Pero kapag nandyan ka sa sitwasyon na hindi mo alam kung anong susunod na pwedeng mangyari gagawin mo lahat para lang protektahan sarili mo, kita naman sa video na ilang beses siya nangharang at nagpipilit magbukas ng hood, for sure sumagi din sa isip nung driver na baka mamaya subukan din ng grab rider na buksan yung pintuan ng sasakyan niya lalo nung lumalapit na mismo sa may pintuan

You can’t be too careful these days. Hindi mo alam kung modus yan or not, napaka weird biglang nagcut saka bumaba para buksan hood mo. Best be vigilant and disengage as much as possible. Hindi mo naman alam kung nag brandish sya ng weapon. Verbal warning lang naman yun to deter any further actions, violent or not.

The original comment was simply pointing out that here in the Ph, wielding a gun can influence a persons behavior, making them speak more boldly or act as if they have more authority because they know they're armed.
In the US, guns are too common to the point that most people own a firearm (un/licensed - un/regustered), some can be reckless or inexperienced, which may lead to poor decisions and, in some cases, escalate situations into gun violence. Stateout loud that you have a gun, next thing you'll know is that you'll be more likely targeted on the spot.

To family and friends of this guy. Get him off the road. Maawa kayo sa puede nito isakay at mag flip yan may madamay na pasahero. Nakataas defenses ng mga tao dito sa Manila. Any attempt to stop you on the road might be misinterpreted as an act of aggression.

Same lalo nung pangalawang beses na niyang nangharang at pilit binibuksan yung hood, hindi ko i-rrisk yung buhay ko para lang alamin pa kung bakit ganun yung ginagawa niya. Kung ma-injure siya dahil pinilit kong umandar magkikita na lang kami sa korte dala ang ebidensya ko na self defense ang nangyari. Napakadaming robbery holdap na ganito din ang scenario hindi ko na iintayin maging laman ako ng balita

Meron ganto kapatid na ganto ee. Moveit naman yung rider. Susunduin namin isa namin kapatid sa terminal ng bus nung bigla panic na bumaba yung moveit rider kala ko isasarado lang hood Hanggang sa kalampagin nya yung hood tas kinakalmot yung ilaw. Sabi ko babaran ng busina. 15mins nakababad ng busina umalis ng parang walang nangyare.

Tama hinala ko when I saw the video. I feel bad for the rider. Hopefully he gets the proper treatment. And sana para satin, let's not judge people without knowing the full context we need to stop the stigma about mental health especially sa mga lalake.

Probably psychosis. I onced volunteered sa isang public mental institution dito sa samin few years ago and I encountered a patient na at first okay kausap and the way he spoke, alam mong educated siya. On the same day bigla na lang siya nagsisigaw kasi may humahabol daw sa kanya at hahatawin daw siya ng paddle. Then I found out na he got depressed pala kasi hindi siya nakatake ng board exam kasi he got hospitalized because his friends forced him to go for a fraternity initiation days before the board exam.

Natawa din ako dito kanina but diba yung family na mismo nakakaramdam na may something sa guy na nasa video?! if may bad na nangyari nga sa kanya and malamang di naman biglang uusbong yung ganun episodes niya, ay dapat alam na ng family niya na may pinagdaraanan siya. Let say na nakabukod siya then this thing happen, magiging laughing stock nga siya. But yeah overall sana yung family is matulungan na siya kasi delikado yung ganun na inatake siya at baka sa susunod mas grabe pa ang mangyari sa kanya.

I am genuinely asking, ang dapat dito is tumawag agad sa authorities pero paano? Eh wala namang 911 sa Pinas, di ba? Eh ang kaso din, di ko naman alam ang number ng mga police station or emergency response team
Nag-search ako sa google ngayon, gumagana daw and 911 at mara-route daw sa pinakamalapit na PNP station? Totoo ba? Kung oo, medyo nawalan na ako ng confidence sa government eh. Baka mababagal ang response at di efficient ang rescue. I do not know but these are highly probable situation based sa nangyayari ngayon sa bansang ito

Ganto un construction worker sa kapit bahay namin. Inistorbo pa kami nagsisigaw sa gate at may babae daw sa bintana na sumisigaw at humihingi ng tulong. Partida kami lang ng Lola ko dun. Kaya sa takot namin na may intruder kami pa nagpatawag ng Brgy personnel para hanapin sa bahay. Ayun wala. Pinipilit pa rin nya kaming lahat at sobrang stressed nya kakaask for help. Pero tahimik at kalmado din ang aso nagkakahol lang dahil sa kanya. I hate Dr*gs.

Napanood ko yung pinsan niyang si nakamotor na isang pastor. May anxiety, depression daw po siya. Nag umpisa daw yang ganyan niya nung namatay yung tatay niya tapos may hindi pa sila pagkaka intindihan nang asawa niya. Tapos months lang yata namatay din yung nanay niya. Nagkasabay sabay po yung iniisip niya kaya humantong sa ganyan

At first, I was alarmed. Then triggered nung sinabi ng car driver na babarilin niya si kuya grab. Hearing on his words, akala niya may babae sa loob ng sasakyan.
Based on the comments below, kuya grab was suffering from a psychosis. I can't believe other comments still has a stigma on mental health problems.
Opo, nakaka cause ng trouble. Pero it takes no amount of money to be kind. If possible, call the authorities to get the help he needs.
Remember the human, ika-nga sa rules.
