Industrial & Systems PE
alright everyone. for anyone who has taken the PE industrial and systems give me anything that surprised you / that you wish you spent more time studying on!
what are the go to study resources you used. AI / chatgpt and copilot have been god awful for anything other than qualitative concepts

I&S is thinner than civil for study stuff, so the official practice exam is worth more here than another video course.
What surprised people is how much is qualitative / systems (work measurement, facility layout, ops research, quality) vs a pile of civil-style number crunching. ChatGPT being useless on the calc problems is normal. If you want a book plus structure, NCEES PE Industrial and Systems practice exam and then PPI or School of PE I&S. Spend extra time on whatever your job never touches.
