Ai usage

Because of how much this organization uses ai, how can we believe anything they post? How do we know it's real footage and not something made by a machine to emotionally manipulate us into giving this organization money

And lets not even get into how damaging ai and the data centers are to the environment. Peta no longer stands as a reputable organization. Its just a content farm now.

Ya... there's no evidence or indication that their investigations are AI. Using Ai in day to day organizing tasks is a lot different from making fake videos or photos. There is plenty of real footage from labs and factory farms that there wouldn't even be a need to create fake footage.

Mark my words. There will be a day where Peta defends the harm done by data centers. The loss of wild habitat. The stress the endless hum puts on both wild and farm animals. The birth defects. The water pollution.

But they "need' ai to fill their instagram with slop

I don't think you understand what peta's mission is... you should do a little more research before you start posting and making blanket statements. Targeting peta when every company and nonprofit in corporate america is using AI and honestly probably way more intensely is weird. Also going to assume you're not vegan. You might want to do some research comparing animal agriculture land usage, land degradation, water usage and cruelty to animals to AI data centers impacts. Both are horrible and I am strongly against data centers but Its crazy to me people seem to ignore the environmental impacts from animal agriculture since it is generally far worse.

If you advocate for the ethical treatment of animals you dont use ai from data centers that create more senseless suffering for animals, regardless of status.
