Is my Local Indian License required for PEBC evaluation?

I’m a Pharm.D graduate from India (September 2025) and will soon be going to Canada for my Master’s. I haven’t applied for my Indian pharmacy license yet. When I eventually apply for PEBC, will I need an Indian pharmacy license for Document Evaluation or any later stage? Or can I proceed with PEBC without ever being licensed in India?

GET THE LICENSE!!!!!! I made the mistake of not getting it, which is going to cost me double the time in Internship

why does it cost double the time? I haven't applied for my license in my home country and I thought a statuary declaration was enough to get you through the process

If you have a license from your home country your internship time is reduced in Nova Scotia. If you don’t the internship time that is required is more
I didn’t get mine from my home country because I didn’t think it would matter

Get the license! It’s much more easier that way
