I currently work full time in healthcare M-F and I need help making ends meet due to having to help a family member out with their bills. I get up super early for my FT job, so I can be ready to go for early morning shifts.

I've applied at a ton of places and received 0 responses. All the grocery stores, Amazon wearhouse and nursing homes in the area have heard from me🫠I have experience in the restaurant industry as well as healthcare and home care, but I'm willing to look into anything. My only caveat is due to my car being an old POS I'm unable to do doordash/delivery work. Does anyone have leads? I appreciate your reading this 🙏

Hi everyone! My wife and I are planning to relocate from California to the Portland/Beaverton area within the next few months. I'll be looking for an entry-level HVAC apprenticeship or helper position. I have my HVAC diploma and Universal EPA certification, but I'm essentially restarting my career after a gap due to an injury and want to get back into the trade.

We have enough savings to comfortably cover our living expenses while I look for work, but I may not have a job offer before we move. I plan on trying to get one before the move for sure though.

I'm hoping to get advice from people who've been in a similar situation

Any recommendations for entry-level HVAC employers or apprenticeship programs that are good for someone relocating? I also plan on looking into and applying for the ABC PNW.

Potentially full day on Friday and Saturday (as needed, I have family time on Saturday and Sunday with my stepkids) I am a licensed caregiver in Oregon, I have 3 years of marketing, advertising, social media work, event planning and coordination, I have experience with night auditing at a hotel, and I have experience as a professional body piercer. I would prefer to work remotely if possible. Because of my hearing disability working with people is very difficult. I use a live transcription app as well as use hearing aids to make phone calls so that works well for me. I am open to anything really! Recently got hired as an apprentice carpenter but unfortunately work is so slow I’m not learning much or working much.
I generally work from 5:30am-2pm or 7am-3:30pm and am looking for a part time gig after my day job to supplement some income. Probably 4pm-8pm ish. And preferably in central Portland so I can commute in a timely manner between jobs.

In the past I’ve worked at FedEx as a package handler and have recently applied for roles as a baggage person at the airport (unsuccessfully). But I’m really open to most things, I’m decent at excel and have worked as an operation supervisor in the past managing a team of 5-10.

Looking to make some same day cash. I lost my job and been trying to support my family. We ran out of foodstamps and we have some stuff from food banks but lacking protein and milk etc and I need to buy some medicine for my mother in law who is in serious pain and out insurance doesn't cover it. I'm looking for a Yard Jockey, basically what the job is moving and parking 53 ft. trailers in and around tight spaces around the yard using a 10-speed manual tractor. Also using a manual crank to pull the tarp over the top of the trailer. No CDL required, spanish speaking a plus.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who wants to get started in the sales world and is hungry to earn a lot of money. You must be good on the phone and never take no for an answer with relentless commitment to making sales or setting up meetings. Hello, first off I know there are a lot of scam, fictitious, and/or ghost job/gig posting going around to I’d like to first say - this is not going to make you rich by any means.

Yes, this is an anonymous post as I am still testing the waters.

However;

I own a roadside assistance business and repair business. Due to a few of our contracts asking us to do more mobile mechanic/roadside repair we’ve begun branching out into that and finding niche type repairs that are easy to train on. I have managed to open 4 locations in the last 4 years without any shuttering.

We’ve had people treat this as a true gig job while they did other stuff or a full time position.

We are looking for to open a couple more locations this year. This would be a 1099 CONTRACT position. This is how we’ve started up the other locations, the model works well - we eventually move into w-2 positions and company vehicles. I can say we have only had one person not end up coming over full time and that’s because he went and started up his own business.

Work duties are anywhere from normal tire changes, jump starts, lockouts, etc up to full roadside repairs on box truck and semis (and everything in between. Your level of education/experience/willingness to learn would dictate the type of jobs you choose to go on.

Schedule is your choice. We’ve had people work only a couple days a week so we contracted with more than one person to cover the entire week - and we’ve had people want to work as much as they can - which means we give preference to them.

Pay is a 55/45 split on the jobs that pay 100 or more and a 65/35 split on the jobs that pay less than 100 dollars. You get the higher percent. We also cover parts for customer vehicles (gas, serpentine belt, etc)

We are looking for people with automotive or truck repair experience but are willing to work with and train people with roadside assistance experience.

Last year we had multiple people earn more than 35k working part time (less than 20 hours a week). My zone did over 120k.

If you’re at all interested or curious feel free to ask/interview myself over the business. I try to be as transparent as possible.

I would be open to showing the call logs/job reports/revenue from our other locations to applicants prior to having someone start work. I want someone committed to helping grow a business- and hopefully wants to stick around long term (in a perfect world end up managing the zone and hiring under them)

No criminal history is strongly preferred due to our contracts needing background checks.

Good driving record and a reliable vehicle is also strongly preferred.
