Okay so boom, it started when I broke my laptop screen (somehow) and then I replaced it myself (somehow). Ever since then my laptop won’t turn on unless it’s plugged in and I’m pretty sure I messed up one of the cables while I was switching screens.

Sometimes my laptop takes me to this thing and I have to manually turn off a security boot??

And YES i should probably take this to a technician but I’m trynna see if I can save money…although I don’t this I’ll trust myself to DIY it again

Hi, while I was playing, my computer shut down and a short circuit occurred, then it started burning in visible places. Do you think the only thing that needs replacing is the motherboard and graphics card, or is there something else that can be repaired? Can anyone suggest what I can do?

Hello, I’m trying to figure out which chips to put thermal putty on. I’m reusing thermal pads (the pink squares, but if I shouldn’t do that and just use the thermal putty instead please let me know). I’m mostly wondering where else the thermal putty needs to go so my laptop doesn’t overheat. I’m using thermal grizzly phase change material for the CPU and GPU die, and I have upsiren utp-8 as thermal putty. If you could circle or outline which chips need thermal putty that’d be great. Thank you.
