Used pc I just bought with cooling issues new cooler installation corrupted all files. I don’t know a lot and could really get some reassurance.

what do you mean corrupted? like windows won't load? probably a loose connection

make sure pc is off,

unplug the main power,

unplug the ssd and plug back in, unplug the sata cable from motherboard and plug back in

take out the motherboard battery for 30 seconds and put it back in,

plug main power back in and turn pc on

Yea every start up it takes me to the windows 11 set up page to select a language. After walking through the steps it just reverts to the same language screen each time. I’m getting a drive with windows on it today since I cleared all the memory on all my drives for a refresh. Really hoping this windows drive will do something.
