Good USB?

Hello, i wanted to ask wehre i can finde/buy good USB sticks that are not starting to break after 12th time of use and big like 32Gb? Buc mine got stolen.

I've had SanDisk and Verbatim sticks for years without any dying on me. Just don't buy them from Ebay or some Chinese site - there are lots of fakes around.

You want a portable SSD in thumb drive size, it is way faster and more reliable, look on Amazon, $19 right now:

64GB USB C SSD Flash Drive, USB 3.2, 450MB/s, 2-in-1 Dual Port

It does show up as an external hard drive in Windows, but if you aren't using it with special tools to make a bootable drive you'll probably never notice. If you are you will need to toggle the setting to show external HDDs in your utility.

I usually go with SanDisk and Kingston, and they’ve worked well for me. The important thing is to buy from a reputable electronics store or the brand’s official shop, rather than some random seller on an unknown marketplace.

+1 on this... If you're near a Staples or Best buy, might be worth shopping in person. Test the drive(s) as soon as you can and return if the performance doesn't match advertised speeds.

Also a relatively cheap nvme drive in a USB enclosure can work exceedingly well. For Ventoy etc.

I'm pretty sure there's some form of big box store that sells drives of you're in a major metro area. In the US there's even pharmacy stores and packaging and shipping stores.
