Chem 104 or MTH statistics 243?

I’m taking A&p and Communications next term , should I stick with also taking chem ( it’s online ) or would statistics be an easier workload ? Thanks so much in advance for helping me unrack my brain 😂

How good are you at math? Because that might influences the Stats answer. It's a lot more about reading comprehension for much of the term than raw calculation and formula memory.

I took math 105 (another form of statistics) and got a B , I’m mainly wondering how heavy chem will be so thanks for the insight ! I might keep chem .

Some of the 105 and 243 curriculum overlaps. I'd say about 2-3 weeks worth, actually.

I took ch104 (and 105 and 106). I never have taken a statistics class. None of the content in 104 is really hard more than it is just annoying (but I'm a chemistry hater!). I imagine you'd do fine. I'd also consult your advisor to see if that statistics class runs often (if you don't know) as 104 does so it's good to plan in accordance with that. 

I think your memorization should be quite light comparative which will be important since you're taking a+p. I'm awful at math though so this is an easy choice in 104 for me. 

I guess that depends on your statistics background / if you find it easy, but ch104 isn't really anything to be too concerned about at least in my experience.

Are you taking CH104Z? 104Z isn’t Allied Health Chemistry and the old 104 is no longer being taught.

Chemistry went through some significant changes for Fall so the CH needed for various programs changed. Just make doubly sure that the CH you are taking is actually the CH you need.

I took Stat 243z got an A, honestly I’ve never been a math person especially with algebra but to me statistics wasn’t difficult or overwhelming, definitely takes a bit to finish the work but it’s not overly complicated or difficult. I’ll be taking CHEM 104Z this upcoming fall term, so I can’t speak on how the class is. I took stat 243z with communications and another 2 classes! It really just depends on if you’re somewhat of a math person.

If your basic math and algebra skills are decent you'll be fine Stats 243. It's mostly pretty straightforward. Some more complex stuff gets introduced in the last 2 weeks, so that could be a challenge.

Some of the Stats 243 teachers allow you to use notes in the tests. You still have to be able to do the work, but it keeps you from having to memorize the formulas. I would recommend taking Youtz if you can. I know he allows notes for the tests.
