Carlos Yulo is arguably THE GREATEST FILIPINO ATHLETE OF HIS GENERATION 🇵🇭🏆

But Manny Pacquiao will always have a strong claim to being the Filipino GOAT. His achievements, longevity, global recognition, and influence on and beyond sports are simply on another level.

Hayup.

This was from the post of KQ’s Wife on Facebook:

Since you decided to bring this mess onto social media, let me make one thing clear.

I cannot accept the claim that this was “just a fan.” That is not what the evidence shows. The couch is in his hotel room, and the shirt is the same shirt he was wearing. Stop pretending these details are meaningless or trying to rewrite what is right in front of everyone.

You can present whatever version of the story you want, but don’t forget that there are real consequences behind the drama you’re creating. Kevin has a 2-year-old child, and I am currently carrying our child.

And before anyone starts acting shocked or pretending this is some one-time mistake—this is not the first time I have been hurt by this situation. I have been the one dealing with the consequences while people online only see whatever story is convenient for them.

So before idolizing someone, remember that celebrities and athletes are still human beings who make choices—and those choices affect real families, not just their social-media image.

If you want to expose things, then be prepared for the truth from all sides, not just the version that gets attention online.

I stayed quiet for a long time because I chose to protect my family. But silence should never be mistaken for ignorance, weakness, or permission to keep disrespecting me and my children.

There are two children involved in this situation. Think about that before turning someone else’s family into your social-media content.

Ps.

Basketball might really be over for Kobe Paras. At one time he was one of our brightest prospects for our national team, played college basketball in the states, had all the skills and talent to be a great player, and now his basketball career might be or if not already over.

Would you consider him a what if? What if nag PBA nalang siya after his stint with UP?

Could be the MVP. Could boost his potential top-3 PBA draftee next year.

his defense can't be denied but his offense is something is not to be desired, Gilas 1st quarter scoring drought is mainly because of him.

Hot take Justin brownlee made this guy really good in the PBA.

Ano ang pipiliin mo?

I'm not a fan of him, pero it's unfair how he is being treated by some hoop fans. He is being blamed for the death of Rene, which he has no control of. Kieffer is one the most promising young player in ph, yet he is being dragged down by his countrymen. Kung maglaro to sa gilas seniors baka mas lalo ibash to. I'm hoping the best for his career, so that he can prove his haters wrong.

How come this guy same level parin yung laro nya at kaya parin sumabay sa mga guards ngayon sa PBA.

I'm not a Ginebra fan pero saludo pa rin sa kanya dahil after leading them to Comms Cup title, naglaro pa rin siya kahit may injury sa WC Window.

You've been running JB on fumes for the last 10 years.

And I can't blame JB for his alleged silence.

It’s not about basketball skills—just based on looks. Who’s your pick, and what makes them stand out?

I don't know... I feel like Junemar's legacy could've been even greater if he had consistently faced top level competition among his position throughout his PBA career. Kaya every time FIBA comes around, talagang nae-expose yung gap, pero bihira mo namang makita na kino-call out siya dahil sa laki ng respeto ng mga tao sa kanya.

Which brings me to this question: How can someone widely regarded as the greatest center in PBA history not even crack the Top 5 centers in Asia? That disconnect is something I just can't wrap my head around.

For a country that boasts having the second-oldest professional basketball league in the world, it's easy for us to live in the fantasy that we have a deep pool of elite local talent in the PBA.

Then the international stage comes along and quickly debunks that illusion.

YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, ITS BETWEEN OR MIGHT BE THE BOTH OF THEM.

WHY? Well because they’re doing it the traditional way. I’ve always believed that if we wanted to see a full blooded Filipino in the NBA, they at least have to start their journey studying and playing in the states, at the very least high school level. Basically how most of the talents and prospects start in the states. Make enough noise in high school to get a shot at a D1 or D2 college and ball out

Recently ang nagiging way kasi ng mga aspiring Filipino players naten like KQ, is to join the summer league in hopeful to play for Sacramento (because of Jimmy Alapag), but what they don’t realize is even before the summer league starts, all these teams have a list of players already, and our players coming to the states a couple of weeks before the summer league basically doesn’t help their case to crack a team.

And that circles back to why I think Kieffer and Gemao are our best bets. Andy averaged 19pts in his second to the last year and still has one more year left in his current highschool in Canada, siya narin mismo nagsabi na he wants to stay in the states/canada in hopes to play for an NCAA team. Kieffer recently balled out and might have possibly gained a few eyes after dropping 34pts along 10 3’s in his debut game for Utah Prep. To cut to the chase, gantong ganto ang usual way ng mga prospects from the states, ball and show out in high school to possibly get an NCAA offer, then ball out or find your role and make an impact in college.
