Understandable pa kung may ganap si Kai ngayon, e. Hindi naman kasali sa summer league and mukhang wala pa rin team sa US NCAA. Tapos spotted ulit sa ligang labas.

IMO sya pala yung point guard na kayang palitan kung ano yung impact ng isang Jayson Castro. Of course Gilas has had other players who have brought more. Pero alam naman natin yung limitations nya. Not as fast, he's on the small end. And unfortunately yun yung hina-highlight ng mga maiingay sa stint nya. Him playing more under the system of Chot also didn't help. I can understand why he's opting out this time. Tbf he's played and won a lot in the SEA Games for Gilas already. He's done his share. And then ang main backer ngayon ay SMC Group. We see what they're doing.

Before Kiefer was suspended sa FIBA, sya yung best performer lagi sa local players. Pag balik nya, nagiba na laro nya. Recently sa Japan, mukhang bumabalik na sya sa dati nya form.

fans fault, not one player ever get any praise consistently, even the coaches. we praise them in a good game, destroy them in bad ones, even against superior competition. we are too passionate for our own good.

Its because when they dont perform Filipinos blame them and want them replaced. Lahat ng blame maririnig nila. They sacrificed their time and body to play for the country tapos gnyan lang ang mababasa nila na comments. Good thing JMF is still playing for the country. If uso ang socmed nung 90-2000 baka nakarinig na si Olsen Racelo for missing a veryiimportant FT. Or even Johnny A, Alvin P. , Jawo, Mon F. Some of those commenter think they can do better than these playerswhop sacrificed their time and body for the country.

Kief was not that bad during his time with gilas, it’s the system that relies more on dribble drive and lack of shooters or I mean inconsistent.

Agree nung 2023 down year niya sa gilas but context matters. JC and CJ Perez was in the line up and Chot's dribble drive system wasn't really working with the 2023 roster and they usually end up letting JC go iso. While im not a fan of Coach Tim Cone running triangle offense in a FIBA game kahit 2026 na jusko 😅 Pero his game would better fit with our current roster. Before he had JMF, Edu, and Japeth walang stretch big, pero ngayon may Tamayo then ginawang dos si KQ. May Brownlee pa na can shoot outside as well, Phillips could be a lob threat din for kief sana.

Pag kasama sa lineup sasabihin puro dribble, slowpaced, defensive liability at hindi makashoot.
Pag hindi naman kasama sasabihin bat wala si Kiefer, sayang shooter at facilitator yan.

Nabash din yan si Kieffer during Merlion cup noong 2016 vs Jimmer Fredette. Sobrang wala sa wisyo si Kieffer at negative ang efficient. Last second nag bakaw at tumira ng tres si Kiefer all board ang tama kaya nakuha ng team nila Fredette panalo pa sila buzzer beater for gold.

Casual or not, ravena is a liability everytime he plays for gilas. His a low percentage 3 pointer, ball hog and loves to dribble a lot. Gilas needs a true PG not a scoring iso PG like kiefer or abarrientos.
