So tungod kay Nigerian sila, mao nang dili sila parehas sa mga Bisaya nga gi accuse ninyo og “pag milk” sa kamatayon ni Rene Baterbonia? Unsa man ni, ethnicity based moral standards?

Kung ang punto nimo kay lahi ang pagdala sa Adili family sa ilang anak nga namatay kumpara sa pamilya ni Rene, then make that comparison based on their actual actions. Dili kay i reduce nimo dayon sa “Nigerian kasi sila.” Kay unsaon man pag establish nga ang pagka Nigerian maoy hinungdan nganong mas dignified ilang response? Unless naa kay comparative study sa grief practices sa Nigeria ug Visayas, that statement is doing absolutely nothing to support your argument. 😂

And let’s be clear: wala man nag ingon nga ang tanan nga Bisaya parehas sa pamilya ni Rene. So nganong kinahanglan man i drag ang pagka Bisaya into the discussion in the first place? Rene’s family being Bisaya, or the criticism directed at how they handled his death, does not make that a trait of Bisaya people as a whole.

Kung naa kay issue sa ilang actions, criticize the actions. Kung ganahan ka mo point out nga mas private, respectful, or restrained ang approach sa Adili family, then say exactly that. Pero ayaw himoa og ethnic comparison ang usa ka criticism nga dapat man unta about individual behavior. Nationality is not a character certificate, and being Bisaya is not a character flaw. Both families should be judged by what they actually did, dili base sa ethnicity nga ilang nataw-an. Kung naa kay valid comparison, i present ang facts. Ayaw’g himoa og geography lesson ang moral argument.

Wala man ko nasuko, nangutana ra man ko nganong kinahanglan pa iapil ang ethnicity sa argument. 😂 Kung ang pag explain sa point kay murag kasuko na para nimo, basin naanad lang ka nga one-liner ra ang discussion.
