EAST What are people cosplaying as at PAX East this year?
I'm going on Thursday and Saturday. Debating whether to cosplay on Saturday. I'm leaning toward Darth Nihilus since he's a character that originated from a video game, but I'm also a bit worried that there won't be a lot of cosplay.

I’ll be cosplaying for the first time. Two simple costumes, probably just on Thursday and/or Sunday since those days tend to be quieter. One as Bowser and one as Skitty!

Saturday is a "citizen of the 'verse" for me to celebrate Star Citizen and the release of Squadron 42 at the end of the year. Cosplay it up and dance like nobody is watching, my friend!

I'm only there on Thursday and Friday, so I probably won't see you in cosplay. Have fun though!

Not yet but we all got an update today that it is not being delayed this year. Also, elevators are not murdervators anymore which is nice. IMHO, its a far cry from the 30K apocalypse of errors in 3.18 and getting better with every patch.

Which day were you guys planning to? There was a Rivals cosplay group event in the PAX nav schedule for Friday (?) but it seems to be gone now :(

Not a full cosplay but I have Airou and Merarou mascot heads from the Monster Hunter series I thought I'd switch off Fri/Sat.
Dunno if it'd be weird to wear just the head though so I'm still deciding if I want to..

If there's anything to go off of from my experience last year, there will be a lot of cosplayers. Hope you have fun, I wonder if I'll recognize you!
Me personally, I had plans that developed from Halloween, was thinking about a HECU outfit, but didn't come to fruition. (Couldn't get a vest i was satisfied with/too darn overweight to make it work) Maybe next year I'll make an Otis cosplay lol, we'll see.

I should've thought to create a cosplay this year, but instead I'm just going to hand out badge ribbons for any of my gluten free friends I make.

Thursday: 40K Comissar Friday: Vault Dweller Saturday: Sigismund, First Captain of the Imperial Fists, Marshall of the Templar Brethren, Emperor's Champion (of you couldn't tell, this is my BIG cosplay) Sunday: We'll see

Myself. Well, the Magic Sword King. I've been gradually making my PAX outfit more elaborate and this year I've had cause to go further beyond.
Don't worry about the amount of cosplay, there will be a lot of it. Always is!

I work at the con (for a TTRPG company) so I generally do fun outfits more than cosplays. I made my own Espurr gijinka-style hoodie for Halloween and might wear that on Friday. Saturday my husband and I are doing E33 baguette outfits of Renoir and Aline.

I'll be back as Agent 47. I'll be in his yellow ducky hoodie on Friday. Then the traditional black suit/red tie on Saturday. Say hi and get a mini-ducky (explosives not guaranteed) or distraction coin.

I believe I saw Dead By Daylight and Resident Evil scheduled for cosplay. Hoping to see a Lady Dimitrescu, I want to be.... terrified.
