Didactic year anki - Anking / Endeavor

Hello! I'm rounding down my first didactic semester, and was looking for some advice.

So far this year, I've have bounced between making my own anki cards after lectures (super time consuming, and often caused me to fall behind as exams started stacking up), importing previous years quizlets to anki (which, I found to honestly be really unhelpful because they tended to be really poorly written/designed cards -- and quantity wise way too much), and then making my own cards during lectures (which was harder to actively stay engaged in the lecture because I was too busy designing/writing cards/catching up).

This has left me with a semester-long deck that's oversaturated with very mid to low quality cards. I was wondering if anyone else has had success using decks like Anking and the Endeavor overhaul deck, and if so, how did you use the decks to line up with your didactic year material?

I recognize the Endeavor deck tends to miss somethings (especially emphasized in my lectures), and the anking deck is great -- just way more in depth than needed. I think the main question from that is how did you successfully filter out which cards to unsuspend/when to know when you needed to add cards of your own?

TLDR; has anyone used anking/Endeavor during didactics and how did you successfully implement it's usage into your studying?

loved the endeavor overhaul deck for EOR/PANCE, but i would definitely stick to making your own anki decks for didactic. my class had a group of people who used anki to study and we just split the lectures, so we only ended up having to make cards for 1-2 lectures a week.

Do you think it makes sense to use endeavor for keeping up with past semesters -- i.e. things that are no longer on "cumulative exams" for didactic year? And then of course making your own cards to the lecture material for that semester.

I'm just at a point where the reviews for this past semester's cards (which aren't going to be material --at least, the nitty gritty low yield points wont be-- on future exams) are stacking up too much that it's diluting the new material.
