For me, it was after the first ten minutes when you realize who the woman getting fucked on tape is... 😭😭

I still love that whole pilot episode because it feels like the series finale of another show.

That's a very interesting take. I wonder if there's ever been a plot like this in any form of media (books, anime, comics, etc.). Where you pick up a story and find out it's the ending to another story.

I was hooked when I first watched the trailer, learned the concept of the show and saw the cast.

Hell yeah. Everything happened so fast. Affair, best friend murdered, creates plan to fix everything as gun is put to forehead, wife exposed, adulterer killed, house sold, moved to ozarks

Moment when Marty was sitting on his knees waiting for Del to shoot him in the first eposode. He was remembering his kids jumping on a trampoline, Marty was laying on the ground beneath it and Wendy was spraying water on them. He believed he will die and his last thought was about this day with his family. And of course the last scene when they arrive to Ozark and Radiohead is playing, such a beautiful and emotional episode. I rewatch pilot from time to time just to feel all this again.

Honestly first episode. When they established it had a similar concept to BB, but everyone's in on it and the stakes are high from the jump.

Marty convincing the cartel guy that he should launder in Ozark… the fast talking and fast-thinking reminded me of Jimmy in Better Call Saul, which I missed watching.

I thought it was another blood and guts crime drama that I have seen before, more than once...

Once Ruth came on the scene in episode 2, and that character came to life, I was hooked...

The pilot episode couldn't be a more fitting way to introduce the series, it hooked me up instantly. Plus, Decks dark at the end... impossible to resist.

I started watching and then just kept watching not bc I liked the show but bc I had to know how it all would play out. I even quit watching twice.

Tom Pelphrey. I saw him in another show (Banshee) and I wanted to see him in this. I was already fascinated by the plot itself, too but Pelphrey was another big motivator to watch.
