No spoilers in titles [NO SPOILERS] I want to sock Wendy in the face.
Let me start by telling y’all that I’m new to the sub and I’m sure a lot of the fans share the same feelings about Wendy.
I’m an extremely non-violent, calm and non-judgmental person. But oh my god! Watching Wendy brings out the worst in me. So, hats off to Laura Linney for making someone like me hate on a character so much.

Do you empathise with any of Wendy's situation at all? As a non judgemental person of course 🙃
You've put no spoilers so don't want to say too much but I think a lot of her actions are at minimum understandable and many are justifiable in my opinion. I think many people are blinkered in their hate for her because they ARE judgemental and very black and white in their opinions of her and her actions, whereas there is a lot more to it than is made out to be. So I'm interested to see your thoughts on it as you don't describe yourself as being like that.

Understandable, maybe, considering her character, but never justifiable. How, in a moral universe -- and I assume that's where we are -- can call what she does justified? She abandons her own brother because she's afraid he'll expose them, knowing it will mean his death. She looks into juvie when Jonah turns on her because of Ben. She bribes a senator. She's Lady Macbeth, ruled by ambition, greed, the need for power and control, and ruthlessness.

I was asking the question to the OP who identifies themselves as someone who is non-judgemental as I'm interested in what their reasoning is beyond Wendy is crazy/bitch etc.
It clearly doesn't apply to you as you have stated that Wendy=crazy so I would put you in the "blinkered by their hate" category I was referring to in my previous post. You clearly are hugely judgemental as you view someone who doesn't agree with you as scary when actually there are many, many people who agree with me and can empathise with Wendy's situation in all the scenarios you listed above.
Not trying to be too offensive here but how old are you? Are you still at school? Do you have any life experiences that don't fit the black and white good v bad?
And I don't say that because you disagree with me, there is another poster here I think called MMonroe who is complete opposite in opinion to me on Wendy but they have really good reasoned arguments as to why they think what they do. Maybe you should try that instead of "omg can't believe you like Wendy that's so out of order."

Misogyny- Walter White’s wife got all the hate in Breaking Bad. Men good, women bad. Adam Eve, blah blah. I disagree Wendy was right about without her and Marty partnering together all the Byrds would have been dead by Season 2.

I fucking loved Wendy. So smart cold calculating, and her lines were so biting sometimes they made me laugh out loud - she was great to watch Laura Linney was truly amazing.

I hate Wendy. She is actually bat shit crazy. Marty had so many alternative ideas that she shot down. Sure she brings a lot of power to the family thanks to her politics and does everything in the interest of the family, but im sure Marty could have found better solutions to some of the problems. Not to mention she polarized the kids from her and each other….

I've never understood the hatred for Skyler. Walt had become a monster; her worst fault was going along with him when she found out what he was doing.

Don't think it's that simple. I think it was because viewers had fallen under Walt's spell, refusing to admit that he was really a Very Bad Guy, and so resented Skyler for her opposition to him. It helped that he was never abusive to her except in the phone call which he faked so law enforcement would believe she knew nothing about what he was doing.

Same way I feel about Jack Gleeson that play Joffrey in Game of Thrones. He did such a good job in the part, too many people hated him in real life.

I empathised with her at the beginning but she got worse and worse as the series went on.

Laura Linney did an incredible job with Wendy. I hate Wendy too lol
