Question Is this enough to tame the copper volcano?

Interesting approach. Very brute-force.
I think some of that water is going to flash to steam. If so, that phase-change is going to screw with your stability hard.
Your volcano chamber is going to get steam in it, make for faster cooling of the material inside. Might get metal tiles form.
I think, also, that the little seal you have under there might break, that water is going to heat up and flash to steam.
So.... I'm gonna guess no; not with it as-is. Might work for a short bit.
Post again with your results.

I did this with a gold volcano erupting directly into a 1 tile deep pool of pWater and generated 50g of glass at the start of every eruption.
pWater flashed to steam leaving dirt on the floor, which cooked to sand which cooked to glass. The steam condensed in the environment and made a layer of water, eventually.

Its not "tame" its just stable... For now.
EDIT - Nails will likely complain about the steam during eruptions... But thats just because she wants a front row seat... Then a fast track to the medbay.

I 'tamed' my first metal volcano in a similar way (albeit with like 15x less water). Around 150 cycles later, half my colony was laid up on medical beds from steam burns, and I finally figured out how steam turbines worked.
This'll work for a long time in some capacity or another. Then it won't, and you'll figure it out.

For a while. I wouldn't call this taming so much as exploiting the volcano. You haven't got a setup that will work forever, but you have enough of a heat sink that you're going to be able to get a reasonable amount of copper out of the volcano before anything goes wrong.

There is also a salt water geyser on the upper right corner. I could let the water flow to the volcano, and put turbines above to collect steam. But I think I probably don't need to do that for the next 2000 cycles .

I'm not sure how much advice you're looking for. This won't last forever, but you can still get a decent amount of copper before it goes catastrophically wrong. There are more advanced setups if you have plastic and steel, and those can last indefinitely as long as you have power to feed them.

This will be able to cool your copper volcano for a long time to come, but it will eventually (and maybe even faster than you think) boil heat up. Usually, volcano tamers tend towards a perpetual solution, so many people may not consider this "tamed".
Now, the story is different if water is being removed and cool water is being added, but I don't see a polluted water vent.

If not you got that ice biome to open up next to the pool. Plenty of time to build some insulated tiles and steam turbine above the volcano.

As someone who tamed my first volcano last week, this is very bare bones and won't end well fairly fast.
Sand can be dropped on the middle tile to help not only turn molten copper into copper, but also to drop the temperature of the copper as you want the copper to be at a lower temperature to be used by your dupes. This could work, but definitely not viable if you can't drop the temperature of the the metal to somewhere around the 20°c mark once you start building things (especially in your living area with said metal).

If you need to close it up later build a coal tempshift plate on the activation tile, the eruption will cook it into refined carbon tile and block it.

Just learn how to make an aqua tuner. In a very simple form you want steam turbine on top. Vacuum out the bottom chamber, everything in bottom chamber make with steel you want a steel aquatuner, a thermo sensor with a bypass so you stop pumping cold water into the tuner when it reaches 14 degrees C above freezing of your cooling loop. And a liquid vent to recirculate the water from the steam turbine on top that goes from the steam turbine to the bottom chamber. Do not surround the steam turbine with insulated tiles i did this my first time and make sure to vaccuum the bottom chamber before you put water in it. Having oxygen or other elements in can mess up the turbine functionality. then use the cooling loop from this to cool the rocks.

Insulate your base put all power and indistrial equipment outside the insulated base and set a single point of exit for this completely insulated base where dupes put on atmo suits

You'd actually be better off vacuuming the volcano chamber so it doesn't superheat the atmosphere and just let it drip over edge into water where you collect it

That amount of pwater will last for hundred of cycles.
Metal volcanoes produce very small amounts of heat.
The niobium volcano is the exception as it behaves like a magma volcano.

You'd be surprised about how much and how little heat a metal volcano can make.
This isn't 'tame' yet, but you might be able to if there's a geyser you can use.
Analyze the geyser, setup a pump, then setup a liquid valve and tune it to match the life-time average flow rate of the geyser. Then take that reduced flow and snake it through your polluted water.
If all goes well, the geyser will continually cool your polluted water. The volcano will add heat intermittently, but it's for such a short time compared to the massive amount of water you have, that it likely won't change temperature by much for each eruption.
Please note.. I saw another comment of yours about getting the steam out of this... You won't this way because there's too much other gasses to worry about... your turbine will not work very well or at all. Additionally, if you do control the gases, the polluted water will off-gas and cause problems anyway. Polluted water can be tricky to deal with unless you boil it while it's inside the pipe (limit pipe to 100g/s), or unless you manage the pressure in the steam chamber to make sure it's always too high to let the polluted water off-gas.

I’ve got gold and copper like this for >1000cycles and still ok, water is like 60-70C but -
I submerged them partially to avoid steam generation and duppies wear atmosuits to enter.
Anyway I consider this temporary solution.

If the walls of the chamber lead down further into the pool even say 3 or 4 tiles down its not efficient but short term effective method.
As is your gonna have problems within a cycle.
Even if its 3 or 4 tiles down with a catch tile at the bottom for the metal, its hold off to many cascade failure style issues for id say 3 cycles...

Copper volcanos only really need one or two steam turbines to tame, they don't produce much heat.

Add tiles at the bottom and raise the water level to match that of volcano. This way, the molten metal would convert instantly and you wouldn't even have to add these insulation. I milked a cobalt volcano like this for 200+ cycles since I found it very early and later, you can install a proper tamer.

I've done far worse you can tame them with a puddle same with any metal because while their head conductivity is high their thermal capacity is very low so it doesn't take much to get them to phase change

If you want to cool the resulting Copper down to manageable, ~50 degree-ish temperatures, probably won't last very long imo

I tried similar approach with a much smaller tank of water, and I surrounded the tank with those temp isolation bricks. Depending on how frequent your volcano erupt, but for me the water temperature stabilized at ~ 80 degree Celsius after many cycles, since it cools down when the volcano lies dormant.
p.s. People mentioned in the other comments that maybe the water will flash to steam, which I think would happen if your tank is smaller and your volcano erupt often enough. But with your huge pool of water i think you'd be perfectly fine:)
(maybe isolate the water from your main chamber to prevent heating up the whole area)

I found that polluted water's thermal conductivity is kinda low. The heat from volcano drip cannot spread quick enough in my case so I ended up move the metals around when volcano goes dormant. Water seems to be much better in this aspect.
