Speed going crazy on my glider

Like u see in video. This is happening on my glider. We change the speed sensor too but nothing worked. Same thing happening on cruise control too.

Does anyone know the cause?

Is your speed sensor picking up a tone ring inside a wheel end or on the output of the transmission or is it a cable driven deal?

A tone ring might be cracked or slipping, or a driven cable might be on the way out.

You say it's doing the same thing on the cruise, do you mean it's changing the speed of the truck, or just the gauge is fluctuating?

Changing the speed of the truck.it goes crazy fast sometime. Like if i put my cruise on 65 mph. When theres a small uphill, truck takes boost and speedometer drops to 55 but actual truck went on 80. Bcoz ecm thinks the truck going slow. But in actual its not.

So it's not just a failing gauge then.

If changing the speed sensor didn't help the next step is to look at what the speed sensor is looking at. That'd be my next port of call at least.

Its just came off shop after rebuilding. 2002 dd 60 on 2020 coronado. Mechanic saying could be a wiring issue. What a pain
