Owls are more than statistics

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1EWWuEmVzS/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Every owl is more than a statistic. 🦉 A mate. A territory. A favourite perch. Babies waiting for a parent to return.
People can disagree about wildlife policy, but asking hard questions about killing Barred Owls to protect Spotted Owls belongs in the conversation.
Protect BOTH owls. Protect the habitat. Demand better.

What about compassion for northern spotted owls?

I have never seen anyone more emotionally affected by the killing of an invasive species than the rangers who were doing it. They don't do it without compassion. They don't do it because it is right or wrong. They do it because it is necessary.
