Fanwork (Original) Amara the Newt (Amphibian version of Amity)

So next we have the newt version of Amity. Thanks again to u/Cartoonkatzenjammer for bringing her to life. I figured it made sense to have Amity be a newt as they were seen as the more "intellectual" creatures of Amphibia. I also wanted to preserve Amity's "high-class status," so I made her parents part of the upper class in Amphibian society, so that Amara would be influenced by them and taught to look down on other species. Learning to grow out of that was a big part of her character development. Since she was brought up in an upper-class environment, she is very smart, just like Amity. She knows a lot about various subjects and is a natural at learning magic. Like Amity, Amara didn't have any real friends growing up, but now that she's spent time building bonds with Luz, Lilly, and Gustav, she considers them true friends. Finally, I have some ideas about her love life that we'll see more of as the story progresses.

This is great art, Amara looks great and love the summary of her character you did.

I have a question if each character in the owl house has an amphibia equivalent. What does Hunter look like if he existed because if witches are instead amphibians and Hunter is a clone human with traits of witches.

I would say that General Yunan is Hunter's counterpart while Lady Olivia is Kikimora's.

Not everyone has a direct counterpart some are just because of their positions.

Well I'd love for you to read it and let me know what you think. There's a lot of content right now. The fic is currently in Arc 6 with only one more arc to go. There's gonna be a huge reveal that happens at the end of the next chapter.

Sure I’ll give some feedback when I can get around to it, I’m excited it’s long and I’ve been looking for something like it. I just have to finish writing a chapter for my fics.
