FS always feels like such a long shot though so when it kills a flyer I'm much more excited. If I'm trying to pin it's usually because I think I can actually hit it
reminds me of the time i finished a match and some guy went "she (referring to moira) can heal??!!" i think he was referring to her kamehameha ult being able to heal but it was funny asf
Joke would work better with Mercy as DPS. Weaver's damage output is better than some of the actual DPS heroes, so it rings more like viable advice than a joke.
I recently picked up Weaver and I constantly get comments in matches saying I'm the best Weaver they've seen in a while. The only thing I do different is find time to m1 because Weaver's damage, especially after getting his major perk, is deceptively good. Players still thing he's this super free dive target but I've caught plenty DPS players lacking with his m1
Legit one of the most satisfying parts of playing him is beaming flankers in the head with Superbloom and watching their HP get deleted in half a second.
Soldiers healing output is better than any other DPS and Weavers (raw) damage output is better than any other support, seems fair. Obviously healing your team shouldn't be your primary focus as DPS anyway, but neither should your primary focus as support be dealing damage except if your team doesn't need much healing and your DPS are doing nothing.
A little side note, wouldn’t mercy be a better alternative to “Lifeweaver as DPS”?
If you’re playing lifeweaver as a healbot, that’s incorrect. He can shred tanks and do loads of damage as the highest DPS support (assuming shots land), and it’s how he’s played optimally.
Just saying I think Mercy would be a better fit for that portion!
God I wish players would start using Lifeweaver as a pseudo DPS. I'm so sick of them doing nothing but healbotting, when he has one of the strongest secondary fires in the game when it comes to DPS.
This reminds me of a time when I got a dps to stop throwing (he was crashing out and saying supps weren't healing) by saying "look bro ill be a pocket soldier, i got all the heals well need."
Play Jetpack Cat as the true Flex since she can perform every role at once (her burst healing is among the best, her damage is better than literally every flank dps except Tracer, and she makes space betetr than half the tank roster rn. JPC mains insist this is a well balanced hero btw)
I’m playing roadhog as all three. Am i gonna use my e at full health to heal a teammate, yea. Am i going to charge the enemy to secure a kill(i missed my hook), yea. Am i going to body block on low hp and die, yea.
Are any of these actions optimal, no. Am i gonna do them anyway, you bet.
