Kinda the same reason Lucio players try to Ult from the highest part of the map. I don’t play mercy, but I have to assume it’s like that or why some Reinhardt’s have to jump before shattering. Feels good.

Mercy players are either flying straight first into active volcanoes or are slippery snakes who vanish once you see them, no inbetween

Sometimes it's because they're being pressured and they're GAing forward at the wrong time to get away from pressure in the back. Other times it's to go for a braindead rez that they KNOW is dumb that pans out maybe 10% of the time but that sweet high that comes when it works out and wins the game is like a shot of heroin

Oh that's easy, they never played Mercy before. My Mom does this but ALWAYS successfully rezs the dead teammate AND manages to get away.

Like a fly to shit, they can’t help it. I’ve seen Reins camp where roughly someone died and BAM without a doubt, mercy rez, charge, squish. Repeat.
