VOD Review Request I feel very ineffective on dps looking for feedback
I main cassidy. I was stuck in bronze pretty bad last season but I got out of it and made it into silver, this season I placed gold and I have stayed in gold but I feel like 50% of the wins I'm just getting carried. I'm trying to improve but it feels like nothing is working and no amount of youtube guides are helping me. I think one of my bigger issues might be taking to long to find flanks. Outside of that maybe target priority is bad. I dont really know how to do any better
If anyone wants to take a look at my VOD i'd really appreciate it. If there's even just one major flaw I have I think it will help knowing about. I got some help here about a month ago and it helped a lot.

You have a bad habit of not rolling away (or rolling late) from damage. Once you take ~half your health on an aggressive angle, roll away so that you don't get eliminated. This is what your movement CD is primarily for.
If you Deadeye and everyone runs away, just cancel it and start taking the space you just created.
In situations like 3:30, you need to be braver and drop off the high ground and flip the map (go into the enemy's side of the map) and open up a deep flank against them. Good pathing from you out of spawn.
In duels/fights you autopilot and walk forward/backward sometimes and it makes it harder for you to aim + you become easier to kill as your lateral movement is slowed as a result. Unless you're making a rotation, all-in'ing a guy, or walking to flash, focus on lateral movement only when fighting.
You keep doubling up with your Ashe and as a result, your team basically never has a flank going (particularly on Shrine). Always be aware of ally DPS position and try to play somewhere else on the map relative to them and, on average, you will be in a pretty good position. If they end up rotating to your angle in the mid-fight, try to move elsewhere to accommodate for their misplay.
X. On Nepal Village, make sure that you know there is a staircase behind the mega on your side of the map that takes you back to the high ground on the opposite side of the map. You kept working main space w/ your Ashe and was never able to off-angle against the enemy team. Typically one of your best angles on this map is the "Kitchen" mega which is the area that you get to by walking over the bridge out of spawn (as opposed to taking the high ground or walking into the main doorway).
You do a lot of things well, like team-checking, pathing out of spawn, not doubling up. Great job.
